  1. While they were worried about brown people that posed no threat to them Zeus said "hold my fucking beer"
  2. I'm assuming this was after Biden was elected
  3. The citizens of Texas actively reward corruption, bribery, fraud, and gangster politics. Every 2 years they say give us more of that right up the ass.
  4. Just gonna be blunt with it here. When deranged lunatics shoot up a Walmart in El Paso, a school in Uvalde, a shopping mall in Allen... Where are these assholes? What were they saying then? What were they doing? Who did the majority of them vote for after all of it? So you want me to feel bad now that they're the ones getting fucked over? After they shit all over other people that aren't like them getting fucked over? After they justified it and continued to support the bad actors that keep allowing that senseless stuff to happen? Fuck Them. The last decade has taken away my give a shit for people who actively facilitate this garbage we have in this state.
  5. Gotta admit it. My standards were higher at 13 than at 21.
  6. Except they could have applied for a FEMA grant to cover a majority of the cost, but didn't because it would come from the Obama Admin. Republicans have zero care to actually govern. So when shit hits the fan there's no one to clean it up. But also no one to think ahead and plan to divert the shit from hitting the fan. This is what you get. These rural central Texas rednecks voted for this and wanted it. Well now you fucking got it, hombre. Oh you want answers? How about your god's fucking will. That's these rural assholes' answer whenever bad shit happens to other people. But when it happens to them? Must be someone else to blame.
  7. Everyone has their tolerance level for it. The only people that post here I know or ever see are the ones I went to UT with and knew back then. I have zero desire to ever meet anyone else from here. But I can understand why that's not the case for everyone.
  8. I'm not debating with you on anything. Of course it's not ok to persecute the poor or minorities, but the US does a great job of it. It's basically this countries' national pastime. That was demonstrated fully during Katrina, and it'll happen again in the future, only worse next time. Not sure how that absolves morons from playing thousands of dollars to send their children into well known dangerous flood plains during rainy season, but you go ahead and enjoy your NO fetish
  9. Of course it is. But it's a city that identifies with that danger. And when it floods again there will be very little federal help, just like last time, and the racism and callousness will shine through. It is much tougher to relocate a city than it is a camp for children. Therefore, much dumber to keep sending your rich little white kids into a dangerous flood plain for a few weeks at the end of rainy season. But maybe your god enjoys the sacrifice.
  10. I was just there a couple of weeks ago. I don't think they've even cleaned it up much since 2005. Except for City Park. That was nicely put together.
  11. How many receivers is Sark going to take? The 5 star kid Bishop is most likely to end up at receiver. We already have 2 others in the class in Brown and Stewart. We took 4 last year who will be true freshmen. We don't graduate any scholarship receivers after this coming season. Finley just wasn't a necessity at all. So he got low balled.
  12. I lost my virginity at a Catholic Church summer camp so this hits close to home
  13. You sure about that, counselor? https://www.campmystic.com/inspiration/#:~:text=Vespers services are held every,Communion service on Chapel Hill. It is seemingly non denominational, but definitely was inundating children with fairy tales of the Christian variety. Apparently has become quite the money maker as well. That means they'll rebuild it, and I'm sure right along the river too. This isn't the first time these camps get flooded and kids get killed. But yet nothing ever changes and they still keep sending them out there year after year.
  14. Maybe the hate monkeys running the Republican party in this state should take note. Of course they're too obtuse to do so.
  15. Or a bunch of migrant kids being held in a detention center near a river. They're white and from well off Texas families. That's why 99 percent the people in this state care. I still can't believe these idiot Christians keep building church camps for kids in well known flood plains. Don't these people read their own bibles? Genesis 6-9?
  16. If it doesn't matter when you need help, then it shouldn't matter when you don't. The humanity in these people to help a state and country that is actively persecuting them is far greater than any of you have. And far greater than I have at this point. I guarantee that. Went dark on news and semi off the grid since Thursday so this is the first I'm hearing about this whole thing. Try to remember the humanity of those that helped once this passes and it's back to persecution as the norm in this state.
  17. Football fandom seems to attract morons who get lucky and dodge a bullet only to decide they really want to go back and get shot
  18. That's because it would happen in the biggest games in the biggest moments. Sticks out a ton. But it didn't happen to him at any extraordinary rate.
  19. If he's a downgrade from Ewers we're turbo fucked. If he's just the same level as Ewers we're fucked. Ewers was the weak link on last year's team outside of specialists. I'm expecting him to be a considerable step up from Ewers, and that may still not be a Heisman winner. If Arch is in NY for the ceremony we're the favorite for the title this season. We have that much talent on hand.
  20. A tale as old as JMMC. Still one of the funniest things I've ever read on the internet.
  21. Wait, what's the story on him screwing people over? I knew there had to be something sinister with that dude. I went over to 247 back in the day when Bobby started it up and Champkind was a major dick over there. Then on shaggy/here he seemed like a decent dude. Thought it was 2 different people for a while until he verified we was on 247 too on the same name. I never tried his Houston area BBQ simply because I couldn't stand the guy on 247
  22. Now this is a man who has studied the intricacies of the looming house settlement issue and it's potential impact on spending.
  23. That's true, last year the consensus was we needed to land one of fasusi or Turntine to be an anchor left tackle. And that was before we had Nick Brooks and he apparently showed out as the next LT after Goosby. They're still on track, just need to finish with a couple more developmental OL. The NFL draft is littered with 3 and low 4 star OL every year. They need to get the right guys that will sit a couple of years and develop.
