  1. I've always been fascinated by the hierarchy among gold digging whores. Like, at what point did she realize that she's not living-on-a-billionaire's-yacht hot/slutty or even entertainer/athlete worthy, before settling for famous, grumpy old coach living in Generic College Town, USA?
  2. Yeah, no way this administration is going to let Bezos go through with that. That will reach every American--even the most politically ignorant. I don't know how you grease the palms off someone worth 12 digits, but they'll find a way.
  3. Most Western democracies have a more... intimate...history with fascists and are more keenly aware of their consequences. I guess you have to learn by doing.
  4. I'm not. It's an obvious foul (if seen). The stuff they let go earlier was primarily in the paint, as is the norm in the playoffs. You can't sneak your hand into the midsection of a jump shooter. Brooks knew what he was doing. Sometimes the refs miss it, sometimes they don't. Now, if you want to argue that they thought Brooks made more contact than he did when they blew the whistle, and they only noticed the hand on Jimmy's midsection on review, you'd probably have a case.
  5. The existence of other missed calls means that refs should purposely miss calls in close games?
  6. Tough one for Houston. They played better and smarter. Just couldn't hit their free throws.
  7. Any contact that purposely knocks a shooter off balance should be called if it's seen regardless of time and score. What are you even talking about?
  8. Seriously? It's a textbook foul. It wasn't incidental contact. It's a crafty move that players like Brooks use all the time to subtly push a shooter off balance. He got caught.
  9. Don't think I've ever seen a team play hack-a-Shaq on a player to get him off the court almost solely because he is unstoppable at getting offensive rebounds. Respect. Steven Adams is such a beast. Wish he could have played in a different era that could have better utilized his strength.
  10. Pretty sure Minnesota is going to be the meteor in this analogy.
  11. Reggie, a 74-72 game with 3 minutes left in the 3rd isn't particularly low scoring.
  12. Watching the playoffs through MAX/Discovery is brutal. Just nothing but advertisements for reality shows starring the trashiest people on the planet. 1000 lbs Sisters. Sister Wives. The entire Paul family. Unreal that there's an audience for this shit.
  13. I assume that calling your opposition clowns in a political ad is a gasp-worthy, devastating insult in Canada.
  14. Was just about to compliment Houston for forcing Golden State to play the Rockets' game--even mixing in some smart zone--but then Jalen Green pulled up for an early shot clock contested 3.
  15. First one absolutely shouldn't have been a technical. That one probably should have been. So the refs gave him a flagrant instead of a tech, so he could stay in? Fair...I guess? This game is going to take 4 hours.
  16. Draymond gets a technical even when he's legitimately trying to separate guys. Gotta admit, that's pretty funny.
  17. Defensive specialist Buddy Hield.
  18. Someone might want to inform Houston that the game started.
  19. I had no idea that Tristan Thompson was still on the Cavs.
  20. Bucher tends to suck. The Lakers--except the bench--played really well for 3 quarters. There was no "point" to be proven other than LA's role players, outside of Reaves and Rui, suck, which is well known. JJ just tried to ride the hot hand a little too long and ended up doing something that has never been done--and for good reason--before, and it bit him in the ass.
  21. Do Miami players go to Cancun, or do they just rent an apartment on South Beach for a month?
  22. Rex vs. Slorch is the battle of bull-headed old Texans that I never know I always wanted. Everyone shut up and
  23. From the looks of it, you found others to entertain your ridiculous hypothetical. I, however, have zero interest in doing so.
  24. I'm calling bullshit. Houthi fire getting so close to an American aircraft carrier that it's forced to perform evasion maneuvers? Yeah, no.
