  1. If you guys are in alignment, then great. Personally I don't care if my child even goes to college, that may not be his path. Ill be just as happy for him to be a construction worker or bartender of that's what truly makes him happy. As someone who went to California school though, outside of Berkeley there's functionally no difference to most southern schools. Just more porn in Santa Barbara's case
  2. I'm 45 so obviously not, but what does that have to do anything. The kid can chose to take the money or not, that calculation is up to them whether it's worth it. I had a mixture of funding for college myself. Some scholarship, some I paid, my folks helped me with rent while I was in school.
  3. Sure, I'll definitely give my son advice. But ever saying you can't go to whatever school? Hell no, that's fucking psychotic.
  4. I mean, you can laugh I guess. I've told my parents to go fuck themselves on multiple occasions though.
  5. That is a fine position, but the kid can easily say fuck you I'm doing it myself.
  6. Because telling your child where they are and are not allowed to further their education is idiotic.
  7. That's one of the dumbest things I've ever heard
  8. The thing that is still hanging out there is the inevitable Roglic day off. Without Kuss to drag him, we could still see him set back quite a bit. The real dangerman right now is Mas, who looks fantastic.
  9. Ah, I see where you went wrong
  10. That sucks, but the new Land Cruiser looks fantastic. It's the first one that has looked like a Land Cruiser in almost 30 years
  11. Hopefully the ringer didn't look empty. Used her dirty undies. Laundry, Dude. The whites.
  12. The goddamn plane has crashed into the mountain
  13. I keep expecting one of these nonsensical tweets to come out, and we find out shortly after that he stroked out typing it.
  14. This is 180 degrees from my experience playing soccer, and the parents were so much better for the HS team. This is tempered however by my advanced age, so many things could have changed in the interim.
  15. Oh I had one of those. Got it for either Christmas or my birthday one year, can't remember.
  16. No doubt. Funny enough, my step grandfather actually was the cook in their house, my grandmother could burn cereal. He actually entrusted his recipes to me before he passed, which I was pretty touched by. I honestly don't know how my grandmother and grandpa on that side didn't starve when they were marries as neither one could cook. My uncle also was the cook in their house, though my aunt does make a few things.
  17. I will say one of the cool things about having a single mom as a kid is she taught me to cook from an early age.
  18. My cousin had one. We were basically like brother and sister growing up, because being Gen X of course my parents divorced when I was 18 months old, and my aunt worked as well, so she and I spent every weekday together at our grandmother's until we were school age. I will admit trying to make a cake in one of these fucking things.
  19. This has been the best GT of the season easily. So open. Mas' save today was unbelievable
