  1. Played a little after work a few days ago and ended up finishing second. Somehow made it to the final circle and choked on applesauce while some guy shot at me with RPGs and I just tried to duck under cover like some deer in headlights. Enviado desde mi SM-G973U mediante Tapatalk
  2. Charlotte Mecklenburg PD just arrested someone at a polling location for intimidating voters, he said he was there to "Watch the black people"
  3. Haven't talked to my dad/stepmom almost the whole year. Fox News somehow turned them into people I don't recognize, and they never used to be like that. Some of the stuff I've seen my stepmother share on FB is just vile. I can't reconcile feeling like I need to spend time with them with the knowledge of who they support and what that person stands for.
  4. Never played any kind of BR game until a week or so ago when I tried Warzone. I really love it so far, it's much more suspenseful than normal game modes. I play mostly solos which means you run into a lot of campers but it's still fun. The Halloween stuff is amazing. I'm regular modes, your head turns into a pumpkin if you get three kills, and it lights on fire after 10. The Warzone stuff is amazing, they put all kinds of touches in there. There's a ghost train, some houses in certain areas have blood coming from the basement, I also read in the hospital you run into ghost girls. Not to mention the jump scare boxes. The zombies mode is crazy, I might just mess around with the non-zombie trick or trios late. Enviado desde mi SM-G973U mediante Tapatalk
  5. Believe so, I think that was later on after the Quest games came out. Never played it though Enviado desde mi SM-G973U mediante Tapatalk
  6. When they showed Roberta Williams in that new Netflix documentary on videogames I knew who it was before they even said, although it's been about 30 years. I grew up hooked on the King's Quest games, as well as Space Quest. Enviado desde mi SM-G973U mediante Tapatalk
  7. I lurk on these boards often because of the soccer talk, but my wife and I were near Hilton Head this afternoon and drove past a Biden gathering where Joe Cunningham and a few other local candidates gave short speeches before driving around with flags and such. About midway through, this truck drives through with this lady hanging out the passenger window yelling 'Trump Train' and honking their horns before speeding off. For a second I thought it was going to escalate but then they drove off. I'd love to put a Biden sign in my yard or car but who knows what some maga would do. 9. O'Hara was a smokeshow back in the day. Damn. The first time of many that I watched this movie was on a plane coming back from England. The whole plane was watching and everyone was losing it, especially during Fred Willard's scenes. Enviado desde mi SM-G973U mediante Tapatalk

  11. So how good is Watchmen? Guess I need to subscribe to HBO's streaming service whatever it's called now Enviado desde mi SM-G973U mediante Tapatalk
  12. Care to explain? It's a great movie and incredible scene, it's been years since I saw it Enviado desde mi SM-G973U mediante Tapatalk
  13. Can't listen to La Vie En Rose now without thinking of Inception Enviado desde mi SM-G973U mediante Tapatalk
  14. Does anyone know which episodes in particular Schitt's Creek was nominated for? Enviado desde mi SM-G973U mediante Tapatalk
  15. It's amazing. Definitely creeping into my top 5 of all time. Took a little while to get me going in Season 1 but it's perfect. Enviado desde mi SM-G973U mediante Tapatalk
  16. Someone help me understand the significance of losing RBG in going from a 5-4 right leaning majority to more than likely 6-3. Enviado desde mi SM-G973U mediante Tapatalk
  17. Are you all really excited for the season to start again? I'm trying to get excited about it but I can't yet for some reason. Maybe it's because the season just ended or that Anfield won't be the same without people there. I think Liverpool might struggle a bit more than people think due to just not having that presence this year. Enviado desde mi SM-G973U mediante Tapatalk

  19. Could really use some help with trying to do some strength training from home, right now I play tennis and run a lot but at 41 I'm really starting to feel like my body is constantly fighting back. All I have right now are some 10 lb dumbells, some resistance bands, and some kettlebells of 5,10,and 15 lbs. I don't mind spending more money on some more dumbbells but can't really afford or have the space for a huge setup in my house. Any ideas for a good routine I could do maybe 20 minutes a day would definitely be appreciated. Anything else I can buy relatively inexpensive? Dick's had some 25 lb dumbbells for about $30 apiece if I remember correctly. Thanks for the advice, definitely feeling like I'm totally lost regarding where to start.

    NES Thread

So the wife still has her NES as well as about 20 games all in their original boxes, with instructions, promos, etc. She also has about 70 issues of Nintendo Power. Last night we had a blast playing RC ProAm, Life Force, and Marble Madness. I would love to introduce her to some of the classics I grew up playing, like for example Double Dragon, Super Dodge Ball, and the game I really want to get my hands on, River City Ransom. Anybody know the best place to find old NES games? Looks like eBay might be the best option. How many of you still have your old NES and what games do you have and still play? 23. Episode 3 is killing me. I knew it was Roberta Williams before they even said who it was. I spent so much of my childhood playing games from Sierra like King's Quest, Space Quest and Police Quest. Enviado desde mi SM-G973U mediante Tapatalk
  24. High Score is really good if you're like me and grew up near the end of the Atari era and witnessed the awesomeness of the NES. My wife still has her original system, box, instructions, etc. Has about 25 games all in their original containers and maybe 40 issues of Nintendo Power Enviado desde mi SM-G973U mediante Tapatalk
  25. I've been enjoying watching my wife play through RDR2, right now she's in Chapter 4 so the whole TB thing is going to be a huge gutpunch for her I think. Also for the most part things haven't gotten really out of hand yet but if anybody remembers the end of Ch 4 it's pretty crazy. She should get through it tonight so this should be interesting.
