  1. I bet he doesn't post shit if we actually won the game there at the end. This way he can be gracious and still revel in the fact that mean ol' "tu" lost.
  2. Bill is/was also old enough that anybody under the age of 30 would qualify as "very young." I say that with full knowledge what "young" usually meant in the Epstein/Maxwell circles.
  3. Look, I think you seem to be a great guy and you run a wonderful message board that brings me tons of enjoyment but your football takes aren’t always the best. As good as Quinn can be, he’s behind schedule. I guarantee he and his family are surprised he’s not preparing to be a 1st round pick in April. Him coming back is a business decision plain and simple. Does he love Texas? I think so. Does he want to win titles? Yeah, I believe so. But his #1 goal has always been getting to the NFL — and he should be going there in 2024 but isn’t. Maalik was gone the minute Arch signed with Texas. That he got in for any meaningful playing time is remarkable. Seems like a great kid and I wish him nothing but success. We are just fine with where we are. Sark will likely pick up another stud QB in next year’s class, who will be a couple years behind Arch. And speaking of chemistry, put talent with talent and you’ll get results. I do agree with you at being at peace with the Sugar Bowl result. I don’t hate Washington. And they beat us plain and simple. They’re easy to root for over Harbaugh. We got the last Big 12 title and won 12 games. We have a solid foundation as we head to SEC. We’re gonna be just fine at QB.
  4. Aaron Rodgers is such a shit-bag even his own family hates him.
  5. I love that the Touchdown Brothers want to fire Coach Butthole Eyes
  6. I'm sure there were more but the only time I really think the DB was embarrassed was on the first big completion on Washington's first drive where the WR finally was pulled down on the 2 or 3. He was open by nearly 5 yards on the route and then Thompson made a late Mack Brown-era tackle attempt that let the guy gain an additional 25 or 30 yards. The rest of the daggers were plays where Penix was dropping darts 30-40 yards downfield into Odunze's bread basket. It was unreal how good some of those throws and catches were. One thing I didn't know before last night was that Sark scripts the first 40 plays. I wonder if that didn't come back to bite him a little last night. It was obvious Washington was going to have trouble with our running game. Maybe adjust and just keep hitting that over and over. Maybe that's just quibbling because the score was 21-all at the half. Where things fell apart was the disastrous third quarter with two fumbles and a punt. We were going to get at least a FG on one of those drives.
  7. Yep. I think Quinn is gone to the NFL as soon as he possibly can but I don't see how he's anything better than a 3rd Rounder at this point. We looked off-kilter from the absolute start last night with the jumpy penalties right out of the chute. Because he's 6-2 and flings a lot of passes sidearm.
  8. This is part of it. I'm really looking forward to getting all of those guys like Penix and Nix out of college football. Penix has played six seasons and Nix has like 60 starts.
  9. Y'all are crazy. Baxter is gonna be a stud. I really, really like Blue. He is a great change-of-pace guy. That explains the 3rd down play, yes. But not the other three.
  10. Just watched the final four plays again on DVR. Here's my summation: 1st-and-10 @ WASH 12: Either a terrible play-call or worse check-down (given the situation) by Ewers results in flat pass to Blue for a loss of 1 yard 2nd-and-11 @ WASH 13: Ewers air-mails a pass to Mitchell out of the back of endzone, don't know if he was throwing it away or what but the ball wasn't remotely catchable 3rd-and-11 @ WASH 13: Ewers is immediately pressured from the outside and throws the ball out of bounds (looks like a big fuck up by Banks) 4th-and-11 @ WASH 13: Ewers lobs it to the outside and corner of end zone to Mitchell and the Wash defender swipes it away, not the throw I'd call or make -- actually watching the replay, Mitchell is open for a lower, driven throw, not the lob ball that Ewers seems to prefer; that said, Mitchell is open and his first move is to the inside before turning back outside, maybe if his first move is outside he can better adjust and shield off the defender??? I just think I'd prefer four passes with players criss-crossing in the end-zone than the four plays Sark called there.
  11. No, he did not. Quinn comes back. It will be his last year IMO. He will go pro or will transfer. Arch will play meaningful snaps and I’m sure Quinn will get hurt as usual.
  12. Four downs to win the game from the 13 and I don’t think a single one of the play-calls were worth a shit.
  13. Classless piece of shit Sooner doing Horns down during that photo op.
  14. So long as that democracy's "ruling" group is white males (preferably rich), then yes, they want a democracy.
  15. Maybe the result of a dispute at the Peach Pit earlier in the evening? EDIT: better link to avoid Apple News issues: https://people.com/ian-ziering-attacked-by-bikers-in-los-angeles-on-new-years-eve-8421078
  16. Fuck Liberty >>>>> Fuck Dan Lanning for all the reasons posted above. Attendance is atrocious.
  17. She’s gorgeous. Too bad she’s a complete piece of shit — and perhaps a lousy attorney.
  18. Fuck. Just saw his pic on “In Memoriam” on CNN a few mins ago and looked online to see he died yesterday. Goddamn, this sucks. Loved him. RIP, Tom.
  19. And allegedly does little-to-no off-the-field work.
  20. You've posted this before. I disagreed then. I still disagree. This is just 2:30 of TV talking heads throwing shit against the wall to kill a segment. None of these dipshits are on the committee. There is ZERO chance undefeated FSU doesn't get in the playoff if Travis isn't hurt. Zero. His injury, along with Bama beating Georgia, opened the door for Texas and Bama -- and gave the committee an "excuse" to not pick FSU.
  21. Wait, Kanell's solution to fix the "bowl system" is to have the bowls in Zero Week? The playoffs, and subsequent opt-outs from games that don't really matter any longer, have effectively turned the bowl games glorified spring games. They're great background filler during the holidays and some of them can still be fun to watch (see Clemson-Kentucky) but they're not a good indicator of team vs team or conference vs conference any longer. Are we really to believe we got a fair representation of Missouri and Ohio State after the Cotton Bowl? Personally, I think we should stop counting W/L results for any bowls that aren't part of the playoffs because they really don't matter and players are treating them as such. Christian McCaffrey started this opt-out stuff and it's now exploded as players save themselves for the Draft. On one hand, I admire Will Shipley for playing this week. On the other, he's a complete moron because he might've shredded his knee in the process.
  22. Good job Kyler you fucking midget
