  1. Wow, what a goal. That's a kick in Liverpool's nuts.
  2. That sucks. I was going to be totally locked into that game for the insane conditions but I get it. Bills Mafia is dumb as hell and that could’ve been life-threatening weather for the fans.
  3. The problem is that Lindell, while a total buffoon to anybody with a functioning brain, is dangerous. He’s mentally ill and walking around with the metaphorical equivalent of an AR-15. He has cost other people their lives. For that, I say fuck him — mental illness and all.
  4. Tried this last night and it was pretty good. I added green bell pepper and then sprinkled some toasted bread crumbs/panko on top before putting in oven, along with some more cheddar. I don’t think it was “soupy/cheesy” enough. I did halve your proportion (two squash) because nobody else was having any but me last night. I think next time I’ll add more sour cream, more cheese and use a smaller, deeper casserole dish. This is an easy recipe and open to adding all kinds of good stuff to jazz it up.
  5. Also here: https://www.threads.net/@lincolnproject.us/post/C2AdqZiAlHD/?igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA== This clown should fucking hang.

Jack Perkins is opening Maple & Motor #2 in far North Dallas. Anticipated opening is sometime in June. It will be located at 14885 Preston Road. Somebody from the neighborhood seems to have got his panties in a wad over the long-time sign that Jack displays at the original M&M, the one that says "Nobody came here to hear your screaming children" and then directed people to visit The Purple Cow if the reader had noisy children in tow. Jack posted the back-and-forth with this fuckstick. Basically, the dude from neighborhood has challenged Jack to a game of "Try That in a Small Town Far North Dallas Neighborhood". Here's their online discussion: Sisson is anti-abortion and same-sex marriage. Sounds like a peach of a person.
  8. Correct. The talent margin in the NFL is razor-thin. Coaching acumen is HUGE in the NFL. A college coach's best attribute is attracting talent to campus. If he can coach as well, that's a bonus. Mark, or Mike. Whatever.
  9. DeBoer to the Seahawks seems like a better fit for him -- if Seattle wants him. This is how these things go in nearly every case. I don't care what job is open. Brian Kelly leaving Notre Dame to take the LSU job is not the norm. It is exceedingly rare that a program gets its #1 or even #2 target. Usually, you get down to like #5 or lower on your list. Sometimes it works out. Sometimes it doesn't.
  10. I would've liked to have seen Ride. Saw that on the schedule late in 2023 but it totally slipped my mind. Weird they didn't play Twisterella. I wouldn't mind seeing Yo La Tengo in a few weeks at Longhorn Ballroom, I think. But I haven't bought tickets yet.
  11. Sounds excellent. Might have to try that tonight. Even better. Or poblanos.
  12. Fuck if I know. It was just the first generic box hinterlands hotel chain I thought of.
  13. I started that semester as well and I don't recall registering in person but I guess it's possible.
  14. I'm hearing it now on the stream. Jub does a pretty good impression.
  15. Is this your pic? I'm not sure what I would do if I found myself at some sad Comfort Inn bar with this jagalope. Pretty sure I might wind up talking to the local police at some point.
  16. Until the Saudis or Putin of Xi step in to save his ass and effectively own the POTUS ... This cocksmoker needs to be beaten this November. Not until then will our national nightmare be over.
  17. Aaron started in community college and didn’t graduate from Berkeley.
  18. He didn't deny Trump the opportunity to speak as was pointed out above. He was told he could speak if he stuck to the facts of this particular case and didn't veer off into a campaign stump speech or into territory that has nothing to do with his civil fraud case. Either he or his attorneys wouldn't agree to those terms and Engoron extended the deadline to respond multiple times before saying he wouldn't allow him to speak. He relented today and then apparently shut it down when Trump started doing exactly what we all thought he would do.
