New House Repub Tells Audience ‘We Need a Lot More Daniel Pennys’ Because There Are ‘Far Too Many Jordan Neelys’ In This Country https://www.mediaite.com/news/new-house-repub-tells-audience-we-need-a-lot-more-daniel-pennys-because-there-are-far-too-many-jordan-neelys-in-this-country/ Texas Congressman-Elect Brandon Gill, y'all. Married to Dinesh D'Souza's daughter.
  3. I mean fuck it right. Bring on the circus that Deion would bring. (Personally, I think McCarthy has done nothing this year to justify firing him -- if you wanted him gone, do it after the last bad playoff loss.) If you can guarantee me Deion and Shedeur, where do I sign up? I've only really been a quasi-Cowboys fan all these years anyway. I grew up hating them but finally gave up since for two reasons: 1) my Oilers went to Tennessee and shit-head Adams got the league to retire the Oilers' team name and uniform scheme; 2) moved to Dallas in 1998 and wanted to have a NFL team to cheer for again (if I'd moved to Jacksonville, I'd be a Jags fan, I guess).
  4. I got absolutely smoked. He had James Cook too.
  5. He’s done better at CU than I expected. His top-end talent is pretty good. But he’s always going to have depth issues if he continues to operate this way. I think Shedeur has a lot of his father’s divisive team chemistry issues — seems like he’s out to “get his” and if the team wins too, great — but that dude can play QB in D1. I’m definitely more curious to see him in the NFL than any other QB who will get drafted in April sans QE3. My main quibble with Deion is that I think he will bounce soon after his kids are gone. Where he goes, I have no idea.
  6. Strange he only mentioned one of their three cupcakes again... All the best journalism has more than a dozen “Next” buttons to click through the “article.” I also like that the first ball hasn’t been teed up for a bowl game, much less the College Football Playoffs, and he’s doing a “look ahead” to next season? Oh, and aggy is going 11-1 with Marcel Reed at QB? Lulz no.
  7. Yeah, nobody else does those things in the passing game.
  8. Well, I’m in big trouble. Lamar Jackson went nuts and he’s also got Brian Thomas Jr. Need a monster game from Darnold tomorrow night.
  9. Yeah, was thinking about that. I’m leaning Zay just in case Lamar goes off.
  10. Zay Flowers or Adam Thielen? Flowers is solid but not sure how much Jackson will have to throw today. Thielen has been great last two weeks. (One other nugget is that I’m playing against Lamar Jackson so maybe the smart play is to plug in Zay so I can siphon off some points if LJ posts a five-TD day.) I’ve won six straight after a 2-6 start and playoffs began this week. At the last minute Thursday, I put Issac Guerendo in on my Flex spot but in retrospect probably should’ve waited and put him at RB2 ahead of Tyrone Tracy Jr. That would’ve let me play both Thielen and Flowers, one at WR2 and the other at Flex. (My other starting WR is Jerry Jeudy.) This season has been nuts. Had the #1 overall pick and took McCaffrey. Of my probable starting nine guys today, I only drafted three (Kelce, Kamara and Jeudy). Injuries have been a killer — McCaffrey, Olave, Ekeler, Tua and more.)
  11. Move over Rittenhouse, we’ve got a new got-away-with-murder white male American.
  12. That big old boy was motoring on that fake punt
  13. But was it “targeging”?
  14. Can’t remember if it was in Dopesick or The Pharmacist but at least one (or more) high-ranking FDA folks went to work for Purdue at some point. The Sackler family can rot in eternal hell as far as I’m concerned. I’m convinced one of my dear friends was a casualty of Purdue’s bullshit. Had a shoulder surgery go completely sideways, had MRSA and then FF 4-5 years he’s dead of a heroin overdose. None of us had any fucking clue he was shooting smack. Overdose. Dead. Successful attorney in Houston, coached all three of his kids’ soccer teams and was by-all-appearances a model father. RIP, Kevin.
  15. Every other TV commercial is a drug commercial.
  16. Sounds like she fell walking down steps and broke her hip. Will need surgery.
  17. You're reading and posting on this thread while driving? Seems smart.
  18. Pretty sure the preseason plan wasn't grinding games to a close with our 3rd- and 4th-string RB's but it's become a necessity since our preseason Heisman-hopeful QB1 cannot get (or stay) healthy.
  19. In the NIL era the money speaks so much louder than anything Clem says about players on internet message boards. SEC Rant is a cesspool of the worst shit imaginable online and SEC schools continue to rake in talent hand-over-fist.
  20. And yet Brady could throw the long ball if necessary. Brady also had size Ewers will never have and incredible durability that Ewers has never shown he can have. Jesus, that's pathetic. If the bold is true, then he's even more sensitive than I thought. There wasn't some huge outcry regarding his play last year that I recall. There was clearly a drop-down at QB when he got hurt and Maalik had to take over. There's no chance a healthy Ewers comes close to losing the K-State game for example. We should've lost that one. He was lights-out in the Big 12 title game and for the most part was good against Washington. We just took too long to get going and I was not a fan of the last several plays of that game, either the calls or the execution of the passes. Still, heading into this year it was clear he was a Heisman hopeful QB1 for this team and Arch would take over he inevitably left for the NFL. And the season started well -- and then he got hurt. Again. He's been a shell of himself -- save for some glimpses of greatness vs Florida or a few throws here and there. But our offense is stuck in the mud, especially in the second half. Ewers has not been great in the second half. Probably because he hasn't properly healed.
  21. What if I told you Billy is also one of the rubes.
  22. Oregon or Michigan? Or does Larry Ellison’s GF want Underwood to start Game 1?
  23. If memory serves, Miami converted a 1st-and-40 on the opening drive -- without even getting to third down.
  24. Maybe QE3 will go back to where it all started.
