  1. Is Beef really this good? Where is this streaming?
  2. Not Stars related but Stars adjacent — Val Nichushkin enters NHL’s Player Assistance Program. Always thought the episode in last year’s playoff was odd. https://theathletic.com/5204233/2024/01/15/avalanche-valeri-nichushkin-player-assistance/?source=user_shared_article

  4. EDIT: well, shit, I scrolled up and saw y'all posted this news already. My bad.
  5. Bill Barnwell had some interesting stats in his ESPN.com weekend NFL playoff wrapup: https://www.espn.com/nfl/insider/story/_/id/39309176/nfl-wild-card-playoffs-2023-offseason-questions-losing-teams-browns-dolphins-cowboys-rams
  6. The defense was definitely the worst part but Dak was ALMOST as equally shitty. While he wound up with more than 400 yards passing, he had ZERO in the first quarter and 62 as the Packers built a 27-0 lead. That included one pick-6 and almost another that set up a very short field for the Packers' second TD. Dak was absolute trash but, hey, he got some nice garbage time stats in the second half. He's the poster boy for empty stats. I absolutely believe this. JJ definitely has a fatal flaw in that he wants to be GM and win the Super Bowl all by "himself." But he did prove his point that any one of 500 coaches could've won a SB with the early 90's Cowboys. Trouble is that Jimmy's fingerprints were all over putting that team together.
  7. I don't think that's 100% accurate. Michigan turned it over eight times all season, one vs UNLV, four against Bowling Green (amazing really), one against Purdue, one against Maryland and one against Alabama. Looks like the backup QB threw the pick against UNLV. The TO vs Purdue was a fumble but I'm not sure who fumbled. (It looks like it was probably another fumbled punt.) McCarthy threw a pick in the Maryland game. I think the TO in the Bama game was a muffed punt. It's at least two, maybe three depending on the Purdue turnover. Still, pretty amazing how well they took care of the ball. Same guy. He started on college football and then realized there was easy money to be made in the MAGA world. He's a shit-head of the highest order. I think Barstool thought he was too mysoginistic and extreme for their shop.
  8. As somebody said earlier, it’s a garbage defense unless the other team is turning it over or the offense gets up enough to wear the pass rush destroys them. LaFleur was genius to take the ball first and went down and scored a TD after taking half the first quarter time away. Dak makes a poor throw and the Cowboys were chasing the game — with disastrous results from there.
  9. Makes you pine for the Mike Nolan days
  10. Green Bay has 41 points on 39 plays — is that good?
  11. Cowboys making Pee Wee Football mistakes.
  12. GB running like this is Taysom Hill vs Manny Diaz
  13. The Cowboys were completely unprepared to play today. It’s like they thought they had a bud thru to the San Fran game.
  14. Could see that one coming from 100 miles away
  15. That’s good drafting when your 1st round pick doesn’t contribute for several seasons, right?
  16. This is the ballgame here. Can’t let Green Bay score, or really even kill off a bunch of time.
  17. I fully expected Aubrey to miss that kick. That’s his “miss” zone — 32 to 36 yards.
  18. Drew’s “Dak is the real MVP” post is aging like roadkill on a 100-degree Texas afternoon.
  19. Dak and the offense built a lot of their gaudy stats against shitty competition.
  20. Turd is a stud. Love that guy. Hate everybody else in blue-and-white today.
  21. A delay throw with 6 secs left isn’t a good call?
