  2. played big o the last few tuesdays, will post here next time I head up
  3. Yep. Big E is a good dude. He's honoring all hours you prepaid for APP and Palms as well if you have any. His main concern is keeping players happy knowing the money will follow, unlike some of the other places that are most concerned with money and don't really care about the players. You should support him if you can.
  4. Correct. If you want to discuss what we did wrong and how Russia is in the right here please take it to CR
  5. first day on the water this year.
  6. Don't blame that ship a bit. I wouldn't want to go to Norfolk either.
  7. Gonzaga - 1 Texas Tech - 3 Baylor - 1 Purdue - 3 Illinois - 4 Tenn - 3 Iowa - 5 Iowa St - 11 Tiebreaker - Purdue
  8. It's been a while but I remember seeing it too. In computer programming/data science land it's k for 1000, but certain things like ad views are described as CPM which is shorthand for Cost per 1000.
  9. You’d think that she was approved for $600 million she would get something
  10. 6 + 13 = 18?
  11. Mad dog was just west of the drag on 24th
  12. On Thursday one of my kids managed to drop his glove while on a lift. Of course he didn’t do it while it was over a run but managed to do it in a place you couldn’t possibly ski to. I spent about 30 minutes crawling and climbing to get to the damn thing. Nothing beats the thrill of taking a step and having your foot drop three feet. Friday the same kid and I managed to make a wrong turn and we had the choice of going down some super steep moguls or through the trees back to a blue slope. I choose the trees and we spent about an hour going a couple of hundred yards. Lots of falling down, skis off boots and tears from the kiddo. It snowed Friday and Saturday and the slopes were glorious. Went to the rock hard burlesque at the hard rock on Friday night and had a good time with the wife. Saturday night some lady was running around the condo hallways screaming and the police came and asked us questions. Sunday we drove around to the north side of the lake and to Reno via Mt Rose. Wife go car sick and puked twice. I’m a sympathy puker and somehow didn’t join in the festivities. Overall a great trip and I can’t wait to move up there in a few years.
  13. what the fuck is wrong with you people 5 people taking a vacation, dozens of posts deleted. If you want to talk politcs go to the cr. Stop fucking up this thread. And the rest of you please report political posts. I don't have time to read every page. This is one of the best threads this site has ever had, the confluence of information is amazing. No one is here for your fucking hot takes. If it's the least bit political you're taking time off.
  14. Three beautiful days in a row here at heavenly. Trying to snow now but don’t think we’re going to get much. Was 50 yesterday and it got a little sloppy in the afternoon
  15. played a little blackjack at MGM National harbor the last few times in DC but not really worth mentioning. They have continuous shufflers so you can't count. In Tahoe to ski and walked around and found an empty table with $25 min single deck at Montbleu/Bally's with 3/2 blackjack and sat down. Dealer dealt down to the last 10 or so cards so it was game on. Of course someone sat down for the second time through the deck. Dropped $300 in about 15 minutes, couldn't win a hand and lost every single double down and split. Pulled out $300 more and ran it up to around $900, then got 8's against a 6 with a +6 count. Jackpot! First hand get 2 then 10 for 20, second I get a 10. Dealer shows a 7 below, get's an 8. Goodbye $200. Don't think I won more than 5 hands after that and went from $700 to zero in about three decks. Went up to reno last night and found the same rules at a game at peppermill but with $10 min bet. I was spreading from $10 to $100 with no heat and went on a good run and cashed out +$440. Will hit up blackjack and possibly poker here tonight. Poker only runs Wed-Sun at Harvey's here. No big O or PLO games I could find in Reno
  16. Here they have dealer appreciation extra chips with every buy in and a box for dealer tips where you cash out. With 90 entries x $5 and about 30 people doing the $10 add on at the first break and probably $100 in the tip jar, 5 tables the first 5 hours then 1 hour of 4, 1 of 3, 1 of 2 and 2 of 1 we have $850 / 36 = $24 an hour for the Monday night big o tournament. Never heard any dealer complain about dealing it, but they all usually only deal about an hour of it. Dealers are moving from all over the country to deal at the lodge, I wouldn't be surprised if they averaged out $40 an hour. Lots of $5 tips in the big plo games after big pots and $1 on most pots at the smaller games.
  17. I've deleted over 20 posts from the last few pages. If your post contains "Trump", "Previous Policy", "no cr but", "biden should" or similar take it to the CR. Going to start handing days off out if this continues.
  18. when leaving the tech game we sat in the parking garage for a while without moving 11yo: "Probably a drunk tech fan blocking the exit"
  19. Wife has a credit card I pay off to use for food/kids stuff. She uses her own money for non essentials. At dinner last night and I mention to the wife she used the my credit card for non essential stuff. 11yo: "Mom is such a golddigger"
  20. there's also this event, happens every 4 years, not very big so you may have not heard of it that has lots of skiing called the olympics. You should check it out.

  22. District runs from Tarrytown to Oak Hill, and then eastward covering downtown. I lived in the district and moved out to Westlake when my kids were in 1st/K. The different attitude about football is night and day. At the Austin high feeder elementary there was no mention of Austin High, no spirit days, no mention of football. At the Westlake elementary most Fridays were red or blue days to support the high school team. It is much more like a small Texas town when we went to the games. We saw our principal, multiple teachers, and dozens of my kids friends were there. The Austin high games we went to we didn't know a soul, it was mainly just parents of the team and band, and it was downright morbid in the stands. The funniest thing about that move was the first day of school for my boys in Westlake they came home at different times but the first words out of their mouth were the same: "We need to sign up for flag football". There is a tremendous peer pressure to play football and be good at it out here.
  23. not my wife but someone else's at work:
