  1. and really, I wish all of his supporters were treated this way, and worse, in public 24/7. the bootlickers and supporters of treason should never, ever be given a pass until they’re all dead and gone.
  2. soaked salad cajun white beans with smoked ham hocks and green onion sausage and rice both taken from the first "real" cookbook i ever bought myself 20+ years ago In NO soon after my parents moved there. it sits on my shelf of 40 or so cookbooks now and still gets a workout:

had the relleno en nogado with shredded pork picadillo at Manuel’s (arboretum) this weekend. damn good. their mole enchiladas are also great. it’s not on the menu, but they will do them with white cheese which is my favorite.
  4. these changed my life
  5. this guy is Rocko level dumb, and likely shits his pants on the reg.
  6. Well, other than identifying him/her so that Trump supporters can terrorize and/or assassinate him/her. Which is exactly why Trump wants this person outed.
  7. Slorch posts and then deletes racist post, then lies about it Slorch whines constantly about rep and goes on multiple neg rep sprees, claims he “doesn’t whine about rep” literally 3-4 posts after whining about rep Slorch changes his username in a failed attempt avoid being associated with years of moronic, dishonest posts, warns others that they “better not talk about him” Calls others snowflakes
  8. His base is the Republican Party and its members.
  9. And by way of their silence when presented with it, Republicans approve of and endorse it.
  10. Republicans, to own the libs.
  11. don't disagree with that point. he's not going anywhere. i say he will be "re-elected" in a sham "election," and no one does a goddamn thing about it (other than handwringing and more "investigations")
  12. actually, the country as a whole is sitting and watching the country burn. Republicans are cheering it on and doing everything they can to help.
  13. and it has worked. there have been no meaningful negative consequences for his criminality and treason, and that of his administration and supporters (Republicans). and it will continue to work.
  14. Party of law and order complete and utter frauds and willing supporters of and collaborators in treason
  15. well, sure. can anyone name any Republican elected official at the national level who isn't? seriously.
  16. and, the fact that we even have to engage in a serious conversation about whether the Democratic candidates can actually beat him in 2020, and that there is a very real probability that he will be re-elected
  17. meaning, zero Republicans. watch every single one of them defend, excuse, and support the treason.
  18. Getting rid of every current elected Republican needs to be the next (or simueltaneous) goal. Until they are all gone, there is literally nothing to work on together, and no one in their party to work with. They have made that perfectly clear for the rest of us.
  19. i'd like to see the recipe for this one too if you will post it. i've always used Emeril's crawfish cream pasta "bites" recipe for this dish (and use all different kinds of pasta from time to time for variety) and it is amazing - looks like your might be similar.
  20. we will be past that, and past the administration admitting to asking a foreign government to interfere in our elections to benefit Trump, in a matter of weeks - and he will be back to having support of 100% of Republican elected officials and voters - to the extent he doesn't already have that now.
  21. lasagna with homemade bolognese and marinara sauces
  22. “Damn straight.” -100% of Republicans
  23. Johnny Sack is still around. ClearLake Horn, not sure about.

appreciate the suggestions. cieleto lindo sounds like a place i would like. i have been to sazon many years ago and honestly don't remember anything about it so that is probably worth a re-visit. i think fonda san miguel would make a nice weekend visit also. i do think we have tried licha's once as well. there is another mexican place on east 6th or east 7th in an old house like that (which I have not been to) and i get them confused so i didn't mention that one. i know el dorado gets a lot of love here and we want to like it bc it is in my gf's hood and could be a great go-to, we appreciate a local success story, but we have been twice and both thought everything we tried was very average. /shrug another place on our list is hecho in mexico - have not been but the menu looks great - three different kinds of mole? yes please - and it was recommended by someone who grew up in mexico city. anyone familiar?
