  1. Just watching Nickel Boys tonight. In what world is this a BP nominee? Not only is the story boring, and completely 1-note, but the POV style was distracting, gimmicky, and didn't lend anything to the movie.
  2. Dude, that looks nothing like Terrance Howard
  3. Sounds like we'll be repurposing all those CIA black sites
  4. As loathe as I am to defend Trump, he, or whoever writes his tweets spelled it correctly. Some comms idiot at the WH fucked it up
  5. I hope this doesn't impact my purchase of one of Escobar's hippos
  6. Like Trump has any clue who they are
  7. Ok, which one of you is @Hookem232? Texas teacher invites ICE to raid his Fort Worth school
  8. Can you explain this part?
  9. Worst by far was Chris Connelly (Ministry, RevCo, Pigface) at old Emo's for a solo gig. Everyone was expecting industrial or punk, but instead he tried too become a crooner. Spoiler: he can't sing for shit.
  10. Yeah, I got a long with her ok based on the Austin connection (and I was her boss), but she was a handful. Plus, she had a creepy, weird relationship with her dad. Not saying there was something going on but not saying there wasn't either.
  11. Lol, I produced one of her early films before giving up the entitlement of Hollywood for the casino business.
  12. I've actually worked with Amber. She was an entitled, egotistical bitch ...and that was before she was famous. But, by all means, keep white knighting her
  13. I think all of us over 40 have at least one close relative who was in mob (RIP Uncle Donnie), but alas the glory days of La Costa Nostra are long gone.
  14. How about a little Susanna Hoffs to ease the Gen X suffering...
  15. Giancana was the Chicago mafia... they ain't helping no Yankee. If you're gonna be paint my people with the same brush, at least have the common curtesy to label us correctly.
  16. Make Steampunk Great Again
  17. *Equal Employment, not Civil Rights, which I assume would be next
  18. Whereas my property manager just told me this morning that my tenant would be late with rent this month because financial struggles and I said no problem without asking about their political beliefs. Even though, based on where the property is (rural Georgia), there's a 99.9% chance he supports Trump. I apply my rules equally to all. In my mind, I'm being understanding, but apparently, I'm the bad guy. Anyway, didn't come to post about that... came to ask if Trump really got rid of the Civil Rights Act or am I misreading this...
