1. Wait! Are you sure? Didn’t Bill Gates develop and require the chip be put in the vax? If it’s compatible with iPhones it is surely on a lower priority?
2. Hook’em, everybody! This old guy is going on 3 hrs of sleep after these last two games. Think, I’ll plan on sleeping late this morning. Here’s to the Horns putting it to the Dogs again tonight!
3. Probably would have been Agnew if he hadn’t been such a quitter.
4. Let it rain and let’s watch the Horns steal the thunder and lightning. (No offense to Will Clark and Rafael Palmiero)
5. You mean tonight, or expecting the game tonight to be postponed to tomorrow?
6. Ha. Username check out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
7. Just mostly watched the 1984 Dallas Grand Prix that somebody posted to YouTube in it’s entirety in February of this year. That counts as 2021 F1, doesn’t it? I actually attended this race and was bummed when the race never returned to Big D Random thoughts: - Man, that track surface was horrible!! - That was a pretty fun course though. - These cars look small. - What a race among the top 5 for most of the early part of the race! Wouldn’t it be interesting to see the leaders packed that tightly now for so long? - These pit stops are slow. Are they changing engines? - Shirtless pit crew? - It really makes you think about how dangerous this sport has been considering the announcers talked of an increased emphasis on safety. So many unsafe practices observed in this event. Ha. - How long can you leave a disabled or wrecked car on the track without a safety car? - Williams!!! - Ferrari !! - Lotus should be a team again. - I always liked the JPS livery - Whew, it was hot and humid that day. - Multiple manufacturers of tires in the race. - Two different tire compounds on front and rear? - A set of these tires “costs over $500!” - Are there points awarded for parallel parking along the track? - Man that track surface was horrible!! - Williams!!! - Ferrari!! Finally, linking this back to the current season: Track limits? Move more than 12-18 inches outside the white line and a concrete barrier enforces the track limits instead of an arbitrary decision by Masi or race stewards.
8. Is there somewhere to look up every actual pit stop time and not the entire time in the lane? So, Bottas had a 2.24 in Bahrain? Didn’t he have 3 pits in that race with one being 10+ seconds. From this inexperienced viewer, most of VB’s pit stops seem to be training sessions for Hamilton’s stops. Granted, his third stop was in attempt to get him fastest lap, right?
9. You don’t think Sean Connery could have fathered a son at 12 years old? That’s probably what convinced him to take the role. Edited to acknowledge I’m 2 days behind Deej in recognizing Connery’s virility. Sorry, I just came across the thread today.
10. Ha. Not sure if serious. Maybe I didn’t word it correctly. This damage was not exposed until the storm last week when the cladding on the fascia board and a rotten chunk was blown off. The roof was replaced in early February before this was so exposed by the recent storm, but I am wondering if they could or should have noticed the apparent rot in the fascia while they were on the roof.
11. Paging ROFL BOX and any other roofing home repair experts. In early February, we had the roof of a rental home in AL replaced under an insurance claim. This is in one of the hardest hit areas in Alabama that was hit by the recent tornado outbreak. The storm blew off a chunk of the fascia board and the metal siding covering it.. I suspect the ends of the rafters are rotted, as well. This damage has obviously been there for some time. Is this something the roofer should have caught and repaired during the job? We also had the roof on our primary home in NC replaced this past summer. I hate to have to file another insurance claim. Any advice? These are pictures the tenant sent:
12. 10.9 seconds. He got screwed a couple of times last season
13. Not the quality of most of the above, but protest songs for us (former?)fundies:
14. Husch Blackwell? When you are “investigating” harassment, nothing signals correcting the problem more than hiring a firm whose primary partner is named hush.
15. So, the gQp can add him to the Clinton Body Count?
16. JFK's clubs - donated by J. Peterman? https://www.golfdigest.com/story/seinfeld-star-john-ohurley-the-real-j-peterman-to-auction-off-real-john-f-kennedy-golf-club
17. Ok, a couple of issues with this. My first and biggest issue is Cruz self-righteously commenting on it. The National Guard wouldn’t even have been needed were it not for seditious politicians like DJT, Cruze, Hawkeye, Gaetz, et al stirring up their followers. Second, this may be a little controversial, but aren’t these soldiers? Don’t they train to fight wars in uncomfortable climates and rough conditions? Don’t they bivouac in conditions far worse than outside in the National Mall or in parking decks? I mean sure, take care of them if we can, but I’m not getting the complete outrage over their circumstances. I guess they can’t dig latrines in the National Mall, so there’s that.
18. Yeah, right? Somebody should have warned her about Miller.
