  1. Don't forget that Mosely, by the end of the year, had surpassed Moore and was WR1b to Wingo's 1a. So really we are hoping to either find a true #1 WR or get a true slot guy or a big body 50/50 guy and hope the your WR's force you to feel like you "wasted" that money as they make huge strides. If you can't get the true #1 in Coleman, there aren't a ton of options available to transform the WR room anyway.
  2. Anyone got this story on Flores?
  3. I think people are taking for granted how hard it is to get these guys into the portal. Most likely for every one starter that actually gets into the portal, four others let that be known that they wanted out and never materialized. It is real easy to see how these low level guys want out for playing time or to get a taste of Power 4 NIL, but big time gets are getting taken care of at home before they can get out on the market. Part of it is familiarity by the player, part is the old adage "it is cheaper to keep 'em than buy a new one", and part is the school still has the two-day negotiation window between the player asking to enter the portal and the paperwork becoming official. I would love to hear stories from last cycle of how many guys were "supposed" to enter and never did. How many had "deals" ready to go if they entered and yet they stayed?
  4. If he spends next year as a caretaker starter for a really bad Fins team, then he most likely he stays in the league for the next 5 years or so. That would give him around 18-20 career starts, and as long as he isn't historically bad, he would be considered a massive "win". As an example, the 2022 draft class (outside of Purdy) has 3 other QBs currently in the 18-25 range of starts. 2023 has the 2 "studs" and then two more in the 12-20 range. 2021 has 5 guys who have made 15 or more starts in the NFL. Getting 20 starts out of any QB at this point is a major win from a late round draft pick. In truth, he would be on the David Mills career path with starts in his first two years, then seeing the team draft someone to take over. Then stay as the backup. That has earned Mills 12M or so in his career so far and would be an absolute "win" for Quinn.
  5. So average as a blocker at TE (219/430) and amazing as a receiver (7/342)? That is surprising to say the least... will need to look at some MSU game film to see... Odd, but then again without knowing how PFF grades TE blocking, not sure... How did Endries rank in comparison this year?
  6. I am pretty happy with Masunas. At worst, he is TE2, but he was thought to be the starter for MSU and Brian Wozniak has had real good TE's both at Michigan State and Oregon State. It will be nice to have a plus blocker at TE.
  7. Most of my entire list hurt my soul, but mind over heart on this unfortunately. All the names over 60 will hurt... the other ones, not so much.
  8. So a whole new ST unit in one evening... Banks putting in work
  9. If you have to ask, you can’t afford it….
  10. This will instantly become the most commonly misspelled name in the game threads for the Fall...
