  1. Man, don't you get it. EVERYONE, and I mean fucking EVERYONE from Miami to Seattle, dreams of a life in College Station. The ags are the first choice of every stud in a portal overflowing with them. Just you watch...
  2. It feels damn good to actually have a serious basketball team with a clear and consistent approach to the game that is building on itself as the season goes. It's been a while.
  3. That is all correct and lucidly stated.
  4. Anyone else feel nervous about going into the 4th quarter with a 14-point lead?
  5. PK is just a nice guy. If you don't let your opponent get the first down, they might feel bad.
  6. HANDS DOWN... Best six loss team in the country. Advantage Aggy,
  7. Was this the stupidest Aggy thing ever? It's the half-time TV bit where a university gets to emphasize academics and the student body (i.e., we're not just a football factory). So, what does Aggy choose to portray? Midnight cult practice highlighting their dork yell leaders. And then it scopes out to A&M, which hasn't even sniffed at an SEC title, intimidating other much more successful schools. And then it ends with Jimbo Baggins nodding wisely, not a good look to begin with and one that certainly hasn't aged well. Pathetic lack of self-awareness, thy name is Aggy.
  8. That's just what happens when two mediocre teams play each other. Ole Miss is seriously overrated based on the weakness of their first-half schedule.
  9. Best 4-loss team in the country. What's to complain about?
  10. I understand. The way we lost is discouraging (dead offense and tired defense in the 4th quarter) because it seems like an MO at this point. But we're also nothing special yet. We don't have the depth to be special. I think we'll eke out a bowl bid, which is a modest improvement over last year. If Sark isn't the guy, he'll eventually get fired, but let him at least try to land this recruiting class before we give in to despair and start blowing things up.
  11. That cannot be real. If it is, how pathetic. Trying to weasel in on a Tennessee team that earned the limelight all season.
  12. Exactly. Who cares when we play A&M? It probably won't be Thanksgiving since the NFL moved to three games on that day.
  13. This is the thing I've never understood. If you take the totality of his career, Jimbo is a good coach. But he's not Saban. Yet they revere him as if he's Saban squared. "Got Jimbo!" Okay. That should get you some winning seasons, which is what they've had. But they're still waiting for him to erupt as some juggernaut for the ages. The only thing that explains it is that believing Jimbo is extra special lets them wallow in the delusion that they are, too. p.s. And I say this being fully aware that Jimbo has a chance to field a pretty sturdy defense over the next few years.
  14. I'll have to give them this--the defense looks pretty good this year. That actually bodes decent for the playoffs if they can keep it up.
  15. It's been a good day. A very good day.
  16. Just think of it as an improv comedy.
  17. Look at those glazed over eyes. Skeletor actually expected to win this game.
  18. On the plus side, Dak gets to steal some more of Jerry's money for nothing, which is all the revenge we'll ever get.
  19. Yes.
  20. That's the right attitude. The Cowboys are just some spiked experiment with freakish results. They present an interesting but ultimately inconsequential puzzle.
  21. Well, who wouldn't treasure a victory over the mighty Fighting Hawks. Start scheduling the South Dakota Coyotes as well, and Nebraska can start terrorizing two of the very few states that might be less interesting than it.
  22. Man, have you ever heard more inspiring words than that. Winston Churchill had nothing on Jimbo.
  23. Yeah, it was short this time: "Shut the fuck up and pay me, you toothless hillbillies."
  24. Pretty significant lack of self awareness from umnimboti
