  1. Don't have Derka on ignore. Searched Lavar looking for a relevant thread, clicked thread, added post. Sorry to ruin your scrolling.
  2. I was making dinner at the time and couldn't see the tv, but could hear it. Love me some unhinged Tracy Morgan so I took a break and wandered into the living room. Instantly started cracking up without another word even being said, just seeing that Eddie was playing Tracy so clearly perfectly.

    Fried Chicken

If you haven't been by Donkey Mo's on Airport yet, I highly recommend. Super crispy (twice fried?) and not greasy in the slightest. I had the naked wings (no sauce) and they were the best fried chicken I'd had in a damn long time. https://www.donkeymos.com/
  5. How are y'all getting worked up over something that happened 6 years ago?
  6. This car needed more green, not less:
  7. Woof.
  8. https://prosoccerwire.usatoday.com/story/sports/usmnt/2025/02/17/americans-abroad-reyna-struggle-dortmund/78854150007/ It's not happening for Gio Gio Reyna's season finally looked to be up and running in mid-December. The Borussia Dortmund attacker started his first two games of the season, scoring a thunderous goal against Hoffenheim to open his account for 2024-25. Two months later, Reyna has added a grand total of one more start to his season total. It's becoming increasingly clear that the 22-year-old isn't going to find the playing time he so desperately needs in Dortmund. This weekend saw another typical Reyna outing. The attacker was brought on in the 80th minute of a 2-0 loss at Bochum, barely giving him the chance to get going before the final whistle sounded. Reyna now has a total of 21 minutes over Dortmund's last five league matches. Though he's shown glimpses of his undoubted potential in recent months, Reyna has now failed to convince two coaches — Nuri Şahin and Niko Kovač — that he deserves to be more than a bit-part player this season. Reyna didn't move in this winter's transfer window like he did last year. After his nightmare loan at Nottingham Forest, it's hard to blame him for opting to stay put. But this summer looks like the time Reyna must find a team where he can play. At this point, almost anywhere but Dortmund will do.
  9. I really enjoyed it overall. Some of the sketches dragged a bit, but overall thought the did a great job bringing them back at the end. Tough to cram 50 years and 500 people into 1 show. ngl - I teared up as soon as I realized the song choice. By the end I was laughing because Miley is so fucking dramatic. Loved Sandler's song too.

  11. There's a lot the PLL has got right over the past couple of years trying to get this league going, and the Sixes Tournament is one of them. Scheduling the Sixes Tournament the same time as the 4 Nations Face Off and NBA All Star Weekend is definitely not. Push it back 1 week and you're golden! Caught the Atlas vs Cannons semifinal yesterday and it was one of the best games I've ever seen. Here's the final minute of regulation and OT: btw - if you've been following the PLL and/or college lacrosse for a minute, you know Miles Jones has really fallen off over the past couple of years. Dude is BACK. He's moving well and playing smart ball - did have a couple of bonehead turnovers, but also knocked down 3G, 1A. Coach is trusting him as well - ball started w/ him on offense a lot. Championship Game today: https://surlyx.com/PremierLacrosse/status/1891492267866644783
  12. Damn ladies - way to close that shit out! 🤘🏼🤘🏼
  13. Sounds like LSU brought a shitload of fans. Not exactly a home court advantage today.
  14. Mavs imploding, even on their days off.
  15. Hold strong boys. 28 days to happy time.
  16. The point was the overall shift to a much more expensive lineup overall. 10 years ago they didn't have half as many models as they do today, and the vast majority of what they're selling today is more expensive than their most expensive* 10 years ago. *probably not completely accurate, but not far off.
  17. The likeability is in inverse proportion to their dominance. Couldn't stand Seb winning all the time, but he was easy to pull for at Ferrari because his success would go against Hamilton's dominance at Mercedes. Hamilton was so much easier to pull for the last couple of years as he went against the dominance of Max. Nah, I'm pulling for HAM/FER to help bring down RBR, but they don't have my heart. McLaren and Williams are the teams I really want to see have success, but there's not currently a driver in the field I have a mancrush on and really want to see succeed. I'll be happy to see HAM/FER win when it happens, but if they manage to Ferrari the fuck out of it, I'll still be amused in a how-the-hell? way.
  18. Never thought I'd see a day where I was pulling for Hamilton. Or Ferrari. Certainly not Hamilton and Ferrari.
  19. When I bought my last pair of goggles 10 years ago, they were fairly expensive at ~$125. Obviously some more expensive, but feel like there were a ton of quality goggles in that $90-$100 range. Just looked on the Smith site and pretty much their whole offering is $200+ and a shitload at $300+. https://www.smithoptics.com/en_US/c/snow-goggles/?cgid=snow-goggles&srule=price-high-to-low&start=0&sz=12
  20. This goal by Erling Haaland’s brother is one of the most ridiculous ever seen in the Championship
  21. Good buddy of mine from HS was in the 10th Mountain Division over there. Dude was fucked up for a good long time after coming back. Very Vietnam-ish, in that he may have been 21? 22 at best? w/ severe PTSD after a single tour. I thought about him when Brad Thomas (guy w/ the Elvis Costello glasses) talks about the moment he switched from trying to identify combatants to "everyone I see dies."
