  1. Players was always my go-to spot. That’s probably my most missed food joint from back in the day.
  2. Also, if anyone comes across the Prideful Goat rye, pick it up. It’s a damn good $60 6 year cask strength MGP rye.
  3. The Penelope Texas Toasted is phenomenal.
  4. Bags>wins every day of the week. If Harris cared about wins he goes to Bama.
  5. Buddy of mine today landed all of these at a mom and pop shop somewhere around Dripping Springs. These plus a few other bottles not pictured set him back $1600. This is probably the biggest one-day haul I’ve ever seen.
  6. More green beans than CFS. Do not want.
  7. CFS at Hill Country Cafe was the tits. I miss that place.
  8. Who knew that Jay Riemenschnider would go from eating horse meat to becoming mayor of Santa Monica? Quite the meteoric rise.
  9. I have one as well. Big fan, especially with a cigar.
  10. Watch out. @Sgt Hulk and his scrambled egg brains are going to tell you to get Mahomes’ cock out of your mouth.
  11. Fuck off you mongoloid. I’m fucking pissed this is the situation this program is in. Maybe sit out the next few plays. You’re showing early signs of CTE.
  12. He’s gonna go to Tech and throw for 5000 yards a year, all while making over $1MM each season. He’ll be a top pick in two years.
  13. Pat Mahomes says hello
  14. Texas obviously hasn’t done so on players you fucking dunce.
  15. Mahomes makes $50MM a year. He could easily kick in a decent amount to sweeten the pot of what other big money donors would kick in. Mahomes proves you don’t need to win a ton of games to be picked high and then go on to great NFL success. Ewers could go the same route and have nowhere near as much pressure for him to perform as he would in Austin. The Tech fanbase would glorify him just for picking them and he’d cash in on a sizable NIL deal. I think this Tech smoke is definitely real.
  16. Gotta love Kate at the height of her powers.
  17. Disco 7 looks like a hard pass for me
  18. These beauties arrived today from Seelbach’s.
  19. "I think he's as good on the offensive side of the ball as anyone in football, whether it's pro or college, and I think Dan's going to have other opportunities to go out and coach football and I think he's going to be successful at it," Stricklin said. "But, you know, this is a place that you should be able to have a high level of sustained success over a consistent period of time. And to do that, you have to have a lot of little things in place. People look at losses as a cause to get rid of a coach, but a lot of times, the losses are for things that don't go right in the field, those are symptoms of other issues.“ This is what the Florida AD said today about firing Mullen. You can easily replace “Dan” with “Steve” for our situation. If you want to have the job at Texas, Florida, Bama, OU and the like, you better be competing for a conference championship on a regular basis or you ass will be out of a job. You want to make $5MM+ a year, you better be ready to handle those expectations. I was a big fan of the Sark hire, but I have no issue ending this charade at the end of this season. I don’t care that it’s only been one season. If you lose to Kansas, you ain’t the guy. There’s no point continuing the charade any further as it only puts a year behind in getting the program where it should be.
  20. What an incredibly lame and lazy take. We are a bonafide blue blood football program that is the in-state flagship university with near limitless resources. There is zero reason for our fanbase to not have lofty expectations every season. Should Bama, OU or Ohio State fans be considered “toxic” if their programs went through a decade of extreme underperformance as we have? Fuck no. If anything is “toxic” at UT it’s the administration. Their inability to identify and hire the right coach for this job now three times in a row is absolutely mind boggling. At the end of the day, if you can’t find a way to beat Kansas at home, even with all of the roster issues we have, you’re proven to not be the right guy. End of story.
  21. Really fun reboot. Didn’t try to do too much with the plot and stayed close to its roots. Trying to do another would probably be a stretch, but playing up all the nostalgia in this one was great.
