God this victim mentality is wearing thin and its been less than a week. Aren't you just admitting to being an inferior school if its this hard for them to find a landing spot? Any other school would have done the same.

Hey, Texas and Oklahoma, WE HAVE VALUE, SIRS! - the orphan 8 (while being in the Big 12)

Fuck, we are horrible, no one is going to want us, we are totally and completely without any value standing on our own - the orphan 8 (and of course, reality)

I’m so tired of this “UT has to stay in the big 12 because it would hurt other universities” bullshit.  That effectively means UT is handcuffed because other universities are admitting they cannot survive without UT, which means they are riding the UT coattails. How is that fair to UT? Why don’t people write about that point?

I think we are going to be dealing with uncommonly assholish assholes.

It's not my call, and I figure the business guys are making the right decision, but fuck the wall-eyed SEC and all its current institutions except for maybe Vandy and it's only because I liked a couple of Vandy girls once.

Dancing with these drooling fucks makes me do the opposite of relax.  This is going to stain my university and I hope it's worth it.

What does this have to do with you?

Love the Bama Chick dropping in to tell our fans how it is.

Horseshit. I was at the 09 Rose Bowl and in Vegas. A more entitled arrogant fan base there is not.

The LSU fans at DKR were 50% cool 50% swamp trash.

We have no monopoly on shitty fans

well, to be fair, most of our shitty fans reside in our agricultural branch on the brazos

I have posted here for a few years and generally like most of y’all.

But the attitude displayed in this post is exactly why some of us have the impression of UT fans that we do.

“We’re Texas”. Whatever. You’re one of 16 now.

Give it 5 years, once the novelty has worn off, and y’all will bitching about “THE SEC OFFICE IS IN BIRMINGHAM, PAULLLLLLL” and posting conspiracy theories about the Red Elephant Club.

Imagine, these chuckle fucks think that this has been a humbling experience for us, lol.

I loved how he had to specify which century.  Most of us that aren't old as dirt would just go with '61...

and everyone always makes a mental note that @Armybrat has in order: translated from roman numerals, left off the designation BC, or randomly spouted out random facts about Lou Gehrig because dementia

Among other benefits of the move to the SEC, it's going to show aggy's ass on a national level.  From Bjork's media day quivering, to the lobbying of votes against the addition of Texas, to the threats of legislative and political action, it magnifies aggy's self-esteem issues when it comes to dealing with Texas, way more so than aggy's move to the SEC 10 years ago.

We get at least a couple more weeks of this.  I'm probably going to gain a few pounds drinking aggy's high-caloric tears.

You think this is going to stop in weeks?  Billy Luigi's last breath, years from now when we've beaten them 12 years in a row (heh), will be audibly bitching about this, hitting send on his twitter comment, and stroking out with a burnt orange embolism.

Think you are seriously under estimating the number of schools, other than aggy, that may vote no in their self interest.

I think you seriously underestimate how much these schools love money.  Adding Texas and OU is going to add 30 million per school on top of what they make now.  If aggy doesn't shut up, there are plenty of swamps that they can disappear into.

We expecting Fox and ESPN to come swooping in with bags of gold to keep us in the Big 12 again? Though I guess now those are the same entity right?

I mean that would be fine with me but no, not this time.

The only question I have is whether or not the Big10 and the PAC try to lure us at the 11th hour.

I pull for the Dallas Burn and follow their youth development, but would much rather go to an Austin FC match than an FC Dallas match. (I have been to Frisco once. It kind of sucks.)

I am currently in Dallas, but would hop in my car and drive to Austin in a heartbeat over driving up to Frisco for a second FC Dallas snoozer.

I’m not jealous of Ausrltin FC, I’m excited for them. Their first season excitement reminds me of Atlanta’s… only not quite as much talent on the field, yet. 💥🧨💥

I've followed this league since its inception in 1993 before the World Cup in 1994.  I've never been to a Burn game in all that time, but I will be there when Austin takes over that stadium August 7, 2021.  Austin will be treating the Dynamo like Texas treats the Cougars and Owls and will treat the Burn like SMU; rather than Burnt Orange taking over, it will be a sea of green in those stadiums.

Is McCoughnagey (sp I don't give a fuck) writing the tweets?

Apparently you missed the fact that McCoughnagey (I'm fine with the spelling) is playing Josh Wolff in this video.  I think he got the accent right, but the makeup guys let him down a little bit. Look closely at Josh's McCoughnagey's nose; they clearly exaggerate for effect.

  12. Our last game before the Gold Cup break is against LA FC this Wednesday; LA has a Saturday game on the road at Real Salt Lake.  I like getting them on a short week.

After the Gold Cup Break we play Seattle in our first game back on Thursday, July 22.  Every other team comes back earlier; Seattle has a game on Sunday, July 18 at Minnesota.  I like getting them on a short week as well.

Getting 6 points is likely from these two.

We've already taken road points off Number 1 Western Conference Leader, Seattle and Number 2, KC (were leading KC 1-0 before a Ring red in other KC road game).  Additionally, we've outright beaten Number 4 in the west, Colorado, as well as Number 5 in the west, Minnesota, both on the road.  We just thrashed the team sitting in the final playoff spot, Number 7 Portland.  Additionally, we took a point off of the east team we get to play this year, Number 5 in the east, Columbus.

All of this without a fucking striker.  I think we are sitting pretty.  I'm starting to get giddy with the possibilities.

Playoffs should expected at this point.

How's that for glass is half full?

So....any scouting report on this youngster?  I mean....he can't possibly be a downgrade, but would like to know more.

important thing to note is he's not the DP that we've been waiting on; he'll be in addition to a big DP signing

Anyone caught LFG? The HBOMax doc on the women’s team? They must be doing something right, it totally pissed off the federation.

yea, the objective doc that asks the question:

shouldn't the US Women's national team be gifted the bonus money they would've gotten if they won the Men's World Cup?

Oh, Gallagher was the master of 4 touches inside the box when 1 (a snap shot) would do.  But Pochettino actually had plenty of chances right outside the box, and did the same thing.

It was maddening to watch multiple players futz around with the ball for multiple touches, giving the defense and the keeper time to position themselves, as opposed to taking an imperfect snap shot before the defense was ready for it.

yea, they have either too slow in build up (early season) and now have no patience.  The real issue is that chances are there and there isn't anyone there to finish.  Even a Zardes level finisher would have us with 3 more wins I think.
