  1. Miami is going to be in for a world of hurt going from Cam Ward to Carson Beck. Ward was the only thing they had going for them this year. Their defense is abysmal, Cristobal is a god awful game manager and now they have an overpaid, overrated QB to go with it. But they're in the ACC so they'll probably still win 8 or 9 games.
  2. This has been my expectation. I don't expect Doohan to get a full year, or even close to it.
  3. I don't buy the Sark to the NFL rumors. He's been better as a program manager/talent acquirer at Texas than he has as an offensive coach. He gets to have a talent advantage against 90% of his schedule every single year at Texas. That's gone in the NFL, and his teams haven't shown the discipline/execution to consistently succeed without that talent advantage. But being a college coach is absolutely more taxing than the NFL right now. During the season both are similarly busy, but NFL guys get more of an offseason. College coaches shift right to recruiting. There's also a difference between working 80 hours per week strictly on football versus having to Facetime and text 15 year-olds all the time or keep your whole roster happy because they are always free agents and can transfer at any moment.
  4. I did some googling and there was no report confirming the exact details of his contract, despite him being an employee of a public university. That makes me think it wasn't a straightforward 5 year guarantee, and we have an easier out/lower buyout at some point. My guess is we technically signed him to a five year deal to show public support, but we didn't fully lock ourselves in, and that's why full contract details were never fully reported. Regardless of whether it's fully guaranteed, we have the money and he needs to go by the end of this year.
  5. You must be confused. We said he might leave for a school with money.
  6. Stop being a dumbass. There’s plenty of NIL for UT basketball to be significantly better than this. NIL is not the problem here. We have a coach who’s not good at putting together a roster or coaching it.
  7. This made me think it would be interesting to track where Texas was at before and after Sark considering he's basically had us in the top five every week for two straight years now. Texas in 2021: Texas in 2024: That's a pretty big move up and to the right in the last three years for both Texas and Oregon.
  8. Pretty much all those guys committed to Saban, so it's not surprising they don't want to stick around after going 9-4 with DeBoer. I'm all here for a talent drain for Bama. I'm still surprised Bama pulled in as good of a class as they did in 2025. I don't see them being able to do that moving forward unless DeBoer starts winning big.
  9. It seems like Tennessee has also been connected to a lot of second-rate transfers. They lose a lot on their DL, so they’re probably going to have to be less picky there. This was the year for Tennessee to make a splash on the field. They had a pretty easy SEC schedule, and I don’t think their defense will be this good again for a while.
  10. Hopefully, but the same play calling and game management issues have been apparent for four years now, and he hasn’t done anything yet. I think he needs to hire a play caller, so he can focus more on game management, execution, and red zone issues. Oh and figuring out how the fuck our team is consistently terrible in the third quarter. I’ve never seen a team struggle so consistently in one quarter of almost every single game in a season. There’s something gems doing wrong. It’s too big of a sample size now to dismiss it as a quirk. I agree with everything you said, except for the last part. I’m not saying he should hire a new OC and run their offense, but he should hire a QB coach/OC to call plays from his offense, so he can focus more on game management and execution. Sark’s biggest value add as an OC is his scheme/overall offense. People overrate play calling. Play calling is very much part fo the 80/20 rule. Not many are so good or bad at it that it makes a huge difference. Sark’s never been a particularly good play caller on game day, so he should delegate that responsibility so he can focus on other issues on game day. He can still have control of the game plan and give plenty of input during the game.
  11. There’s no way A&M would let their leading receiver transfer to Texas for anything less than crazy money.
  12. The fact that you edited this post and it still reads this poorly is pretty impressive…in a spider2ybanana type of way.
  13. WTF are you talking about? All the penalties have been legit. We’re just playing like shit.
  14. Yep. A tour de force in moronic play calling. He’s completely blown what should’ve been an easy win. He can’t help himself from trying to dial up deep shots despite starting a QB who can’t throw the deep ball to save his life.
  15. He’s been absolute dogshit the last two games.
  16. It’s almost like he might want to play in an offense that gets the WR the ball. Most years Klein’s top WR is under 700 yards.
  17. If he's going somewhere like Miami and plays a soft schedule against dogshit ACC teams all year and stays healthy, he could easily put together a better season than this year and improve his draft stock. The combination of being the consensus #1 recruit and what he's done at Texas set a floor for his draft stock. I don't think he's at risk of hurting his stock much more with one more CFB season. There's more upside than downside for him if he returns IMO.
  18. That WSU DT's PFF grades were similar to Savea's last year at Arizona, including how almost all his best games were against the bad competition. I'd be surprised if we have any interest. Roster would be better off getting young guys reps than taking him. Absolutely. If he's getting offered anything near 2 million or more, he should absolutely take it. Some of the posters here have been absolutely delusional on Quinn. He already did everything you described this year. He tanked his draft stock a ton this year. He's small, injury prone with bad pocket presence and can't hit a deep ball. There's not that much more room left to fall. The odds are higher he has a better year next year and improves his draft stock while also adding another year to his career where he makes seven figures. Edgerrin Cooper was the #45 pick, and he got 4/$8.3mil. If Quinn is getting offered anything near that annual salary amount, he should stay in college and then he can get drafted on day two next year. The chances he gets a meaningful second contract in the NFL are very low.
  19. @texifornia does not get nearly enough shit for all the weather and geography talk he starts on here.
  20. Sayin will have been in school for almost two years by the time he starts next year. If he’s a true freshman, Moro Ojomo is still in middle school.
  21. SMU is about to be 1-4 against top 20 teams. Clemson made SMU look like a playoff team.
  22. Indiana’s performances against tOSU and ND really show how terrible the bottom half of the Big 10 is. Indiana can’t even be competitive with top teams, yet they curb stomped almost their whole conference schedule.
  23. Franklin is such a moron. No wonder he can never win games against top 10 teams.
