  1. Hopefully Simmonsโ€™ speed and length destroys their tackle guards and disrupts many run and pass plays. Leavitt also has to be accounted for since he is slippery and can make plays with his feet. The interior and edges need to contain and collapse the pocket. No doubt our DL can overmatch their OL, but undisciplined play will result in Leavitt breaking free for gains. Assignment sound football will take care of both Leavitt and Skattebo -- game over.
  2. Not sure there was a bridge to burn once he left, but if there was, it now suredly lies in charred and smoking ruin.
  3. Jkwellborn put it a lot better than I did. It was an absolute dick question to ask Quinn. Despite that, Quinn handled the question rather well.
  4. This second half could get ugly.
  5. Was wondering about that.
  6. Well, that and they seem to have trouble with passes too, so ...
  7. I disliked the question about Arch. There's a million other more relevant questions to ask Quinn, IMO. That one would have been better put to Sark or Arch himself, IMO.
  8. While he doesn't come across as enthusiastic or glowing, I thought he generally gave good answers to the questions. I liked how he handled the Deandre Moore question @ 5:16 in particular.
  9. Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory ... "Wooo Pig Sooie!"
  10. Don't look now, Big Dumpster Fire Tech trying to come back against Supposed to be SEC Hogs.
  11. Samuel Smith's Imperial Stout
  12. Acho is so full of it. As if Venables had no idea what kind of athletes he needs for the SEC coming from Clemson under Dabo. He really doesn't know how to make his argument. No mention whatsoever about how Riley raided the roster on his exit and what he left behind. But none of that excuses Venables' missteps handling it. Celebrate his buffoonery and OUsux
  13. Not only that, but the defender deliberately turned sideways to avoid crowning him. Pretty quick reaction on his part to do that given how quickly a QB's body angle and trajectory can change once they start going down.
  14. Weather delay -- bummer.
  15. That isn't targeting.
  16. Y'all were hanging in there up until the interception. Hell, even then were moving the ball well until Rutherford fumbled. Talk about the wheels coming off.
  17. Holy Shit! Another turnover.
  18. Interception looming large. Prior to that it was looking like who ever had final possession might win the game. GT gotta make up some ground now.
  19. Oops. GT needs to regain composure here. Game is there to be had by either team.
  20. Although they eventually got around to it, this is a huge pet peeve of mine in general. Far too often when they could be showing a replay, instead the announcers jawbone or they interrupt with a stupid interview with a sideline reporter. I'd rather replays be shown as often as possible since the real-time camera views frequently leave a lot to be desired. Not just talking about controversial plays. Just run-of-the-mill plays.
  21. Definitely a subjective call, but I don't think it's really material to the game and not violent enough to hurt the punt receiver.
