  1. That would tie the room together.
  2. That is actually really nice. Link? Seeing the Suhr amps, I kinda fear the price though
  3. Put the amps on milk crates or cinder bock and 1x8 pine board “shelving units”. Add some 80’s T&A posters like Heather Thomas around the room. When she weighs her options, some metal amp stands will seem to be a reasonable compromise.
  4. I would look stupid with the guitar, but I think i can still pull off the shirtless overalls.
  5. This is pretty much bass perfection for me.
  6. So, I really like this thing. It sounds exactly like that sound in my head of what I want to sound like if that makes sense. The cleans are really clear but not sterile or thin. When you add in some gain it sounds the right kind of dirty. I am firmly in the team P90 camp now. I love the simplicity (Volume/Tone and pickup selector). I never use a trem, so the hard tail is perfect for me. Build quality is great. The gig bag is meh. I was hoping for the Daphne blue version, but got a great deal on this Surf green. Now that I have it, the color has grown on me, its more vivd than the Daphne that was kinda washed out in person. I went in and played a few telecasters first, but this just felt and sounded right.
  7. Salvage title would make me walk away immediately. I fear you would end up in the "needs more work than it is worth" category sooner than you think again.
  8. When you only have one, it is your number one.
  9. It is an option in the settings.
  10. Blue. I like actual color on a guitar.
  11. I almost picked up a UN Freak a few years after they came out for a great price. Then I imagined actually trying to use it as a watch. It was pretty amazing though.
  12. Thanks for putting up a great listing Goredho. Nothing drives me battier than reading about a ding or scuff and the the seller not showing a single image of the actual issues they describe. I hope you get top dollar for it. It is a great looking guitar. Unless you sell it to someone on here. Then, I hope we can see more pics and a description of how they basically stole the guitar from some sucker desperate to sell..... I agree with the consensus above. Cherry is simply sublime.
  13. It sounds like you just need your hands free and back pack mode for the airport. If you are not actually using it as a backpack around town, check out the Patagonia Black Hole MLC. It's the max 45L for carry on, the back pack straps are very comfortable, but you can also carry it by a handle or shoulder strap if desired. The design makes it easy to live out of at the hotel vs digging around in the bottom of your back pack for stuff. We never check bags. I can easily put a weeks worth of clothes and an extra pair of shoes in it. I've found it to be the best compromise of useful carry on with comfortable backpack mode option.
  14. There is also this..... My initial thought was stick with C shape and 9.5 radius. However, some of the top contenders are 9.5 with a Soft V or 7.5 with a C shape. I can try out a few locally, but not all. I know that necks are very personal preference, just wanted to get a few trusted opinions before jumping in.
  15. I need some assistance from the Telecaster hive mind. I am possibly dipping my toe back into the 6 string realm for dorking around at the house. May even resume some lessons etc. I have normal sized hands (not small or stubby bear paws). Any thoughts on 7.5 vs 9.5 radius? C vs U vs V profiles. I have my eye on a few and would like some perspective likes/dislikes. etc. Current contenders:
  16. Bring it. And since Deej and Bogey are trying to scoop the bass, pics of the Charvel? Pointy headstocks are my jam.
  17. And an acoustic. Well, and a P-bass. Also, maybe a Gretsch with FilterTrons and a Bigsby.
  18. I have a guy, but like most good ones, he is busy. I passed on the guitar, so no PLEK need after all.
  19. Has anyone had a guitar PLEK’ed? Thoughts on if it was worth the expense?
  20. Westone tried it in the 80’s with a bass guitar.
  21. Already exists. Let us know when you get a shipping number. https://reverb.com/item/28939055-wild-customs-gyrock
  22. Expensive, but the nerd in me is impressed with the design.
  23. Technivorm has an option for a manual drip stop model if you want to avoid having to stir the beans to help with initial coverage. I kinda regret not getting that option so I could let the beans bloom a bit with the initial drip. However, I also know that on more than one occasion, I would probably forget to flip the switch and end up with coffee spilling out the brew basket while I'm distracted making breakfast.
  24. New arrival? I feel green guitars do not get enough love.
