  2. That account just needs to quote Haley, Christie, and DeSantis everyday “Donald Trump is missing in action. He should be on this stage tonight. He owes it to you to defend his record where they added $7.8 trillion to the debt that set the stage for the inflation that we have”
  3. Cook-Out is a prime drunk food spot. That’s all I got
  4. A lot of people are saying that
  5. Of course the pro-Israel crowd is silent, cowards.
  6. Australia rejects Indigenous referendum in setback for reconciliation Australia on Saturday decisively rejected a proposal to recognise Indigenous people in the constitution, in a major setback to the country's efforts for reconciliation with its First Peoples. Australians had to vote "Yes" or "No" in the referendum, the first in almost a quarter of a century, on the question of whether to alter the constitution to recognise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island people through the creation of an Indigenous advisory body, the "Voice to Parliament". https://www.reuters.com/world/asia-pacific/voting-begins-australia-landmark-indigenous-voice-referendum-2023-10-13/
  7. It’s like they took a Furr’s and stripped away the personality
  8. PPI up higher than expected. We're all getting raises again

  10. I was jokingly pissed off as game started and I heard all the let’s have fun comments, instead of fuck them up comments from Sark But turnovers dictated the game. Would feel confident playing against them again.
  11. Target Is Blaming Theft for Store Closures, But Landlords Say Otherwise Retailer wanted to send a message to California, landlord says Chain’s bet on cities would be aided by increased enforcement https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2023-10-08/target-tgt-store-closures-over-crime-raise-questions-among-landlords
  12. Nobody gives a ducking shit about the middle east
  13. Sark giving all the Mack Brown “just another game” reasons and Ewers just being casual. Meanwhile OU wants revenge. Get it together
  14. Employers added 336,000 jobs in September, the most since January and about double the median estimate in a Bloomberg survey. Revisions also added 119,000 more jobs for July and August. https://www.bloomberg.com/news/live-blog/2023-10-06/us-employment-report-for-september Wages increased 0.2% from the prior month, but wage growth slowed from the prior year to 4.2% Of course, all good news for the economy is a bat signal to institutional traders to sell and that inflation can’t possibly be reigned in as a result. You will all lose another 2% of your portfolio because they didn’t teach Bidenomics in their online MBA schools.
  15. Jobsgiving eve again in the Stassney household. Just me, my thoughts, innumerable disposable income and a better right arm than Justin Fields. Gotta be honest though, I’m tapped. The energy just isn’t here anymore. Like a lioness playing with a water buffalo, I just can’t get up for this anymore. Club InFlAtIoN has closed down thanks to Joey. Student loans are being forgiven left and right. Blue collar workers pay has outpaced all the rises since COVID. Everyone’s houses are worth more and have tons of equity. Everyone has a hybrid car now. With unemployment so low, the amount of work happy hours crowds every sports bar and takes forever to get a drink. There are just too many god damn people enjoying life and having a good time, and I don’t have the fucking space to do all the cool shit I used to do. way to go Brandon
  16. Alabama gets another Democratic rep. Lawfare is working https://www.politico.com/news/2023/10/05/court-picks-alabamas-new-congressional-map-00120129
  17. It’s really too bad Trump won because I’d wear a shirt with his Taco salad tweet on it. The thumbs up and his grin is just too fuckin funny
  18. Our primaries are the first week in March. That’s the answer. You can hope for larger turnout in presidential years, but it’s mostly very online Dems or Reps or people who fill their cars with bumper stickers
