  1. Our primaries are the first week in March. That’s the answer. You can hope for larger turnout in presidential years, but it’s mostly very online Dems or Reps or people who fill their cars with bumper stickers
  2. Gerrymandering can absolutely have an affect on statewide races. Convincing someone that’s been in the minority for 20 years to get up again and that this year is different and we have the demographics on our side falls flat on people who have learned to live with losing.

  18. There’s no debate.If Google maps is too hard for him to type in with the other hand that’s not beating himself off, he can try “find a store” on Targets website and report back how many are in each community. These places aren’t exurbs with Dollar General as the only alternative
