  1. I’m willing to bet there’s some Capitol police officers who are absolutely licking their chops waiting for some bullshit to erupt, vs not knowing what to do or expect cause they may have been Trump guys themselves in 20.
  2. Time will tell. New registrations usually signal interest vs the guy whose been registered for 3 cycle and has no history.
  3. I posted in another thread but the Metroplex has something like 8 of the 10 largest counties percentage wise for new registrations from last election. Absolutely squeeze Houston, but work that gets done in DFW will have a ton of benefits down ballot and Allred being the “local” favorite helps a ton.
  4. A 2021 US Census article with a prediction on 2024. We could just post the same US Census Bureau median income report from 6 weeks ago stating 80k. https://www.census.gov/library/publications/2024/demo/p60-282.html#:~:text=Highlights * Real median household income was,of $77%2C540 (Figure 1 and Table A-1).&text=* Real median household incomes increased by,non-Hispanic White households between 2022 and 2023.
  5. I am ready to call Michigan and Pennsylvania. This election is over.
  6. No. 2006 Chicken and Bacon ranch was top tier. It’s back, and better.
  7. I was pretty cereal about Chili’s. I’m super cereal about the Subway revival that’s happening in front of everyone with no fanfare.
  8. *looks directly in camera* I’d like to tell you about the rebirth in quality happening at Subway, but Chili’s is just too damn good right now.
  9. You are narrowing down their list of people to contact to GOTV. You are telling them what side you fall on. They get better data. Just mark them as junk. Similar to IP “warming up” that internet marketing emails go through, enough people marking the sender as SPAM could have an effect on message deliveries.
  10. stop helping them
  11. Poll came out showing 66% support for Florida cannabis legalization and saw a good increase today across the board.
  12. Had 3 HSA accounts so finally got around to submit a rollover on one of them and stop eating fees. Looks like I’ll have to wait another 12 months after it lands in the other account, before I can roll that over into the main one. Fidelity made it easy and completely paperless, so kudos for that.
  13. Clark county was one of the few, if any others, that held in person voting over last weekend in Nevada. The SOS website didn’t report them until later. It’s a non story because a bunch of amateurs don’t know how the reporting works.
  14. Why are people still worried about polls when early voting data is available/will become more in focus this week?
  15. GEORGIA MICHIGAN NORTH CAROLINA
  16. https://www.galvestonvotes.org/voter-information/voter-rosters 10/21/2024 voter roster
  17. Yes. Any row with a 0 means the county didn’t report in time and will be in the noonish update. Dallas posted last night on their own website but Tarrant went to be as did a bunch of others.
  18. 4 of the top 5 have posted from what I can tell. My phone hates Austin for not numbering their excel and hates Tarrant . I’m at 2%. Fish around the sites. Collin and Denton will probably be live too
  19. I'd actually love to hear if Slorch/Iceman voted for his R state reps or State Senator due to his feelings on vouchers. Some of the posters are unrelenting in needling him on every topic.
  20. Good chance if you're in a big enough county they still allow curbside voting. No proof of disability needed. Calling ahead is best
  21. Next time you try, walk to the front of the line with your wife and ask if there is something that can be done for her convenience. Even if she hates the idea of preferential treatment, this is something they prepare for at each site.
  22. copy/pasting from 2022 thread. Can try searching the twitters as well. One thing I enjoyed when tracking was to see how the top 8 counties outvoted the rest of the state. I can't remember if Election day pushed it to a nice factoid that the top 7 counties outvote the rest of Texas. If you can't wait til the morning and noontime updates on the SOS website, county clerk offices have election departments on their website that usually update around 10 every night. Posting the top 5 counties below for reference. I generally just search "XXXXX County clerks elections" and look for totals on the website cause I'm a loser. https://www.harrisvotes.com/Election-Results/Election-Reports - just click early voting on the left https://www.dallascountyvotes.org/early-voting-information/earlyvotingreports/ -3 options https://www.tarrantcounty.com/en/elections/current-election-information.html -Daily Count of Early Voters In-Person and Mail Totals https://www.bexar.org/1568/Elections-Department - banner says view Early Vote totals https://countyclerk.traviscountytx.gov/departments/elections/current-election/#daily-totals - click the daily pdf
  23. Eh that hasn’t been my experience. For the most recent election, this one, most of them (254 counties) get updated early in the morning with about 10 or so that may not get done. There’s an afternoon update that catches the stragglers. The SoS site has switched to displaying top 15 counties for historical election selections. You can visit every county’s clerk website and get the numbers around 11pm at night for the largest ones.
