  1. Gotta hand to the banks, interest rates going up just as millions of people will now consider buying a home thanks to the student loan debt cancellation. Well played
  2. Doesn’t matter what I want. Trump was under FBI investigation before he was President, while he was President, and now after a seditious conspiracy to remain in power. Playing the long game of getting this guy has always led to a predictable and often bigger catastrophe. The Trump appointed FBI director that let the insurrection happen is still the FBI director. Was his master long game plan to let Trump do sedition and catch him in the act? Or was it gross negligence? Somehow Wray has received little public scrutiny over this. Trump is still being protected instead of prosecuted and it sucks.
  3. Well this is interesting. https://newsinteractive.post-gazette.com/anna-de-rothschild-trump-mar-a-lago-security-fbi-investigation/
  4. White House comms goes Dark Brandon in a thread. You love to see it:
  5. Not trolling. if I can’t speculate about the malfeasance of my government on a Texas Longhorns political talk message then what the hell is anyone doing here? Don’t worry, I’ll post less anyway.
  6. Why can’t we be cool with each other? We’re on the same side here.
  7. Look, I don’t even like my own opinion but I ain’t going to lie either. At this point Garland needs to indict Trump or resign but I suspect neither will happen.
  8. Trump is walking freely among us and inciting his supporters to political violence. you evidently were pinning your hopes on this prosecution being a big secret somehow, as though that was ever a possibility. Nope, I think the plan was to retrieve the stolen documents and then maybe prosecute some low level guy for negligence. None of the big January 6 conspirators/organizers have faced meaningful consequences. Garland let the statute of limitations expire on all of Trump’s obstruction crimes while in office. There is not a lack of evidence. There isn’t a missing smoking gun. It just a corrupt system trying to sustain itself.
  9. What work did Garland do in these cases that was remarkable? I’m curious as this is a frequent talking point to bolster Garland’s credentials. McVeigh was caught shortly after the bombing and Unabomber was turned in by his brother. What am I not seeing? Oh, the master strategy was to let Trump set the narrative in the public sphere? You are free to disagree but this looks like Mueller all over again. Too little, too late. Wheels of justice turn slow (unless you’re Reality Winner). Blah blah blah. I want you to be right but the evidence over time in front of me tells me something different.
  10. It wasn’t a raid. The FBI agents showed up in plain clothes with a search warrant. Garland didn’t make a statement until he was forced to because Trump hit back with his call to arms. This wasn’t a raid like we saw with Manafort or Stone and Wray is in hiding or something. Very little about this case makes Garland look good.
  11. Trump had 300+ state secrets in his basement for 18 months without it getting out. What does that statement alone tell you? The Feds didn’t leak anything, Trump did.
  12. Hate to be Debbie Downer but so far it looks like Garland was trying to pull this off without the public ever knowing about it. If Trump didn’t blow the whistle on himself with the “I’m Being RAIDED by the FBI” nonsense, we’d have likely not gotten wind of this. I hope I’m wrong but unfortunately, recent history is on my side here. It looks more like “operation sweep under rug” than whatever it should be.
  13. Funny how they don’t like means testing when it comes to corporate welfare (bank/auto/airline bailouts).
  14. Daniel Sachs Goldman Still can’t believe that’s his real name.
