  1. Unbelievable win. Pacers fans have to be floating during this postseason run.
  2. From what I've seen, Ossoff is pretty good. Way better than Booker.
  3. You are correct. But I would frame it as the #1 thing they care about is being re-elected and having a position of power. And in order to do that, they have to stay on the good side of corporations and AIPAC. I don't think most come into office with the goal of backing corporations and Israel. A lot of leftists have been pissed at AOC and have accused her of being a sellout. I don't agree, as you have to play the game in Congress. I think she's done a good job of balancing her ideals with surviving/rising through the ranks.
  4. Smoke show. And when she was letting loose on the dancefloor at the wedding by herself...goddamn.
  5. If one high up Dem stands in front of a microphone and calls on Schumer to resign, they would immediately be considered a 2028 Dem presidential candidate. This is a meatball, someone just please fucking swing.
  6. I think we need to re-define what healthy masculinity really is for young men. These right-wing losers and incels have focused on a incredibly pathetic version, and it's been working. "Gays! Trans! Woke!" - Really? Is it "manly" to bitch and cry and moan about what other people do in their lives? Sounds to me like dudes acting like little tittybaby bitches. Mind your own fucking business. Who gives a shit what other people do if they're not intentionally hurting other people. Being a man is being respectful to everyone. Being a man is not whining and complaining about how other people appear. Being a man is acting confident in your moral compass and defending others. Be a rock, not a spineless shitbag.
  7. I came up with a simple rule/question for any future discussion about people's identity or appearance with my kid: Are they trying to purposefully hurt other people? If the answer is no, then who gives a shit. Let them live their life. Easy peasy.
  8. Sturgill been mentioned yet? Sturgill.
  9. 100 fucking percent. This issue with young males is because of their parents. We have a newly transitioned family member. My 7 year old asked about it, we discussed for 10 minutes, and it's now a non-issue. It's not that fucking hard.
  10. We did that in 2020, won the election, and look where we are today. We need someone exceptional. People need to be inspired by a fresh movement or this bullshit will just continue.
  11. Tiger was such a massive force that it's impossible to compare players as the eras are so different. Basically any player today 35 or under was completely influenced by Tiger. These guys now are all in great shape and keep their bodies right for maximum performance. That Scottie competes almost every single week against such a large field of talented players is really impressive. I saw some clip of John Daly being asked who he thought was the best player of all time. He said Jack had the best career, but TIger was the best ever. And he mentioned that during the Jack/Arnie era, there were only like 10 players that could actually win a tournament. The pool of talent was way lower. Right now, it's higher than it's ever been.
  12. Cool to see Scottie slam his hat on the green and yell "Fuck yeah, that's what I'm talking about!" after he saluted the fans. Dude is so locked in it took him a minute to actually celebrate.
  13. Right now, DeChambeau is the only LIV player that can consistently contend in majors. And that's because he's an animal and plays/breathes golf 24/7. The rest of these guys are stuck playing exhibition golf that no one cares about, and they just aren't conditioned for real competition anymore. They have already received their big payday, and the fire isn't there to truly battle in LIV tournaments. Rahm is a phenomenal player, and was one of my favorites before he left the PGA tour. The minute shit got real today, he faded with a whimper. Hard to recapture that focus/intensity when you only play in 4 real tournaments a year now.
  14. My biggest Simms memory: Was at the Holiday Bowl vs. Oregon with @henrygandorf. We're driving at end of game. Simms throws three passes into the endzone, one each to Roy, BJ, and Sloan. All incomplete, from my view it looked like all three could have been caught. Feel free to correct me for anyone who remembers those plays, I never watched the TV broadcast. Always felt that could have been a turning point for Simms if we won that game. Bummer.
  15. I think we're getting somewhere now with a Simms vs. Ewers debate. Continue.
  16. I guess. I was perfectly happy with my AT-AT, X-wing, speeder, Ewok Village, and action figures that I kept in that badass Darth Vader carrying case.
  17. The googles say that lightsaber screen time combined for ANH, ESB, and ROTJ is around 12 minutes. The world building is what drew most of us in IMO.
  18. Incorrect. Arch has to look down at ceilings.
  19. Calling them "weird" seemed effective while we were in a Biden administration with an upcoming election and a decision for voters. Now that Trump/Republicans are actually back in power and implementing their plan, "weird" isn't good enough. What they are doing is cruel. Work off of that.
  20. Animated and live action storytelling are very different. LIghtsabers and the Force are awesome. If Andor can teach anything to future SW show writers/creators, it's that restraint is the best strategy. Need better stories/scripts/developed characters that have an earned lightsaber/Force scene, instead of the bukkake that's been previously done to mask the laziness of bad writing.
  21. Yep, you have to play defense when driving in Houston. A zone defense with the ability to attack/pressure when necessary.
  22. The only "Democrats" that liked Tulsi were some leftists and Bernie supporters. Her grift was obvious if you were paying attention.
