The quick rise and fall of CJ is pretty fascinating.
He legitimately had an amazing rookie year. Nothing flukey about it, you watch the film study and it's incredibly impressive. Then he went on every podcast all offseason, acted like and was treated like a top 10 player in the league. I fully bought into all of it and was super excited about his future.
Cut to 1 1/2 years later, the dude is mentally broken. It sure feels like the flip from idolization to pure negativity on social media is having a serious affect on him. He flew too high, too early. And he's having real trouble handling adversity. If he turns it around, hopefully it's soon in Houston instead of needing a fresh start somewhere else.
