  1. Oh boy. Scintillating argument coming up.
  2. 1 Why would anyone do that when there's a summary? You ever listened to yourself, William? Beating. Beeeee-ting. 2 The word you're looking for is summary. A transcript is a word-by-word record. A short-handed transcript, I'm guessing, is a transcript that needs more employees. I know, William, it's the short-handed transcriber who makes you sound dull-minded again here. 3 I'm sure you're right. Listen, I have plenty of posts around here. Pick one and show me how it's done. Oh, and thanks for reading! 4 That's a mission statement for one of our schools.
  3. Ummm, guys. Guys. GUYS! I love you guys, but discussing this as a crime issue is just sort of...uhhhhh....missing the big picture. It wouldn't matter if the murder rate were 20% higher and other crimes the same. He's ordering federal forces to seize an American city. There is only one reason. He's testing how much power he has. So far, he's got all of it. Crime has nothing more to do with this than rodent control. Keep relying on some sort of political solution founded in Dem messaging, and Trump will hit no boundary. Acid wit and astute argument are not the appropriate instruments to stop a seizure by force. If anybody gave a real shit about this, there would be a national strike and unbridled outrage. Leaving protest and resistance only in the hands of the persecuted is pathetic. A joyful, self-satisfied, one-time event like "No Kings" is just checking a box. Check here if you did at least something. There are a lot of checkboxes between that and Check here if you successfully stopped tyranny. I begin to despise our passivity as much or more than the fascists' malignance. I'm being too polite in this world. I must act more or hate myself.
  4. Bill of Rights Whites
  5. A stupid remark can come across as ironic when you overestimate the intelligence of the speaker. I get that a lot!
  6. It's about seeing yourself as victim while victimizing, sir. Duality of man. The Jungian thing.
  7. Just give the chaos a little more time. Everything is going to work out great for everybody!
  8. Over Donald Trump? What is your address?
  9. There's more evidence to prove Santa Claus than God.
  10. But they'll install an authoritarian regime where courts, the legislature, Army, and all bureaus are loyal to the leader rather than the country! We don't want that here in America!
  11. I'm not, but it was absurd enough to indicate that it might be a joke. I looked up the guy and says he's with Good Bull Hunting. The Aggie Onion.
  12. I think it boils down to nobody caring about them enough to scrutinize them closely. The best thing I ever hear about them is "they could be contender" or "they just may be a dark horse." I don't think anyone ever picks them to win the conference or the national championship. The analysis and predictions are base on cursury reviews. We focus on them and know them better than others because we do care about them. Many of us are obsessed or borderline obsessed with them. Anthropologically, they present as an undiscovered Amazon tribe with a crazy notion that they are the center of the flat earth and that anyone outside of their frequently collapsing circle of wood huts would want to be part of the tribe if only they knew how wonderful it was. Psychologically, some of us obsess over them because they're like a street person following you on the sidewalk shouting weird insults and proclaiming you to be the devil incarnate. Because you are not dressed in military camos bought or stolen from Academy, you must be a coward. Because you speak with an understanding of the difference between lose and loose, you must a fag. Sometimes, when they approach too closely, you give them a smack and they fall down. I'm obsessed in these ways. I've more than once been asked where I went to college. Only Aggies have responded with a look of disgust and sometimes a hiss. Other negative reactions are just sports-related and nothing so personal. They bear watching.
  13. Sergeant Schulz?
  14. Any general who puts his promotion and career ahead of his/her oath to the Constitution in these days is a traitor. The Trump interviews with top staff promotion candidates form a line in the sand. You can't pledge fealty and remain true to your oath. The traitor above lays out the terms. Even praise from a Democratic president is cause for suspicion. This is a very bad dream.
  15. Looks like a good one. Let me know when it comes out on Kindle!
  16. Using a mantra, @Incredulity so you can't hear your fellow fascists bringing down a republic? It's all worth it, of course, as long you get those illusory libs Rush convinced you were the real ones destroying America. Anyone who thinks Trumpism is attached to what the right used to mean (conservatism) is a goddamn useful idiot, cheering fascism.
  17. Let me guess, made out to Donald Trump.
  18. The Cowboy DD Lewis was profiled in My Weekly Reader back in my school days. He became a fave even though, I suppose now, his play wasn't actually memorable. The Cowboys had great linebackers in the late 60s, or so I was told.
  19. Profiles in Indolence: William Liucci Okay, easing into the piece about Scooby. He looks like an SEC linebacker. Coincidentally, he is an SEC linebacker. Good eye there, William! Pretty snappy last sentence. Concise. Kinetic. Makes me want to know more about this guy you're profiling. Whattaya got? Where'd Scooby go? Where'd Dalton come from? 1 What guy? 2 Ah, so Williams is not yet a difference maker. Maybe he'll improve into one. 3 Ah, so Williams is such a difference maker that his abscense againt Auburn was powerful enough to make a difference in the Texas game. William doesn't opine about the impact on the Auburn game. Aggies must have won that one. 4 Ah, so Williams is not a difference maker anymore. Shifty. 5 William, you couldn't move your dead ass in the chair enough to verify this? Again, maybe you need a friend you can call at the Texas A&M University Home of the Fightin' Texas Aggies from Texas' sports website who can help you out here. I bet somebody there knows. Lazy fuck. So far, nothing new or insightful or even mildly informative about Scooby. Avoid those torn cartilages! Very painful. What if he wasn't putting that on tape? No interest from William? Exactly what do the Scoobster's video decisions have to do with your opinion? This is Elko level blather. Now, for the end of this well-crafted and thoughtful consideration of Scooby Williams. Remember, the last specific reference was what Scooby put on tape, we resume our narrative: 1 Suddenly, three more guys "are in there." In Scooby's tape? In where? [I did not skip a single word between this and the above.] WTF? 2 So now, we see that Scooby Williams is both the other guy and that guy. Two guys, one scholarship! 3 As it would be were I on the field. Hard hitting stuff in three lazy paragraphs drifting into and out of coherence.
  20. He fired his dog like a dog. He was the worst dog, a total disaster. I was doing him a favor by hiring him. His ratings are terrible. They say he's the worst dog ever. Very low-IQ dog. I barely knew him.
