  1. "Radio said there's a Johnny Law in Estelline You know 287 ain't never been a free ride" Cooder Graw
  2. I've been thinking about this quote from Dr. Zhivago a lot over the last year - "Gen. Yevgraf Zhivago: [narrating; on World War I] By the second winter, the boots had worn out... but the line still held. Even Comrade Lenin underestimated both the anguish of that 900-mile long front... as well our own cursed capacity for suffering. Half the men went into action without any arms... irregular rations... led by officers they didn't trust. Officer: [to soldiers] Come on, you bastards! Gen. Yevgraf Zhivago: And those they did trust... Pasha: [leaps out of the trench and begins leading his men in a charge] Come on, Comrades! Forward, comrades! Earth-shakers! [an artillery shell explodes in front of him; he falls to the ground, and the soldiers retreat to their trench] Gen. Yevgraf Zhivago: Finally, when they could stand it no longer, they began doing what every army dreams of doing... [the soldiers begin to leave their trenches] Gen. Yevgraf Zhivago: They began to go home. That was the beginning of the Revolution." That tweet about not having enough people survive to pass on lessons reminds me of what happened to the officers, like Pasha, that the men trusted in that quote. I keep hoping the Russian soldiers will do what they did in WWI and say fuck this, kill any officers that try to stop them, and just go home.
  3. Has Michael got into the blow again?
  4. Yep, I took a CPR course recently and was taught that you should focus on chest compressions, and try to get help as fast as possible, Also "Staying Alive" was mentioned as the beat to use. It's also exhausting to continually do chest compressions so it's good if more than one can take turns.
  5. Shoulda flew the Horns at the top of the Hemisfair tower like Seattle flies their 12th man flag on top of the Space Needle
  6. That was one of the funniest things I've seen all day when they obviously missed that his knee was down and just kept digging down deeper

  10. I think Worthy must’ve fucked his girl. The solution is for him to wear women’s undergarments under his uniform
  11. I bet he doesn't get Renee Zellweger and Jay (Chris) Mohr confused
  12. Someone photoshop a face of "Chris" Mohr onto Renee Zellweger's body
  13. Tim Brando jacks off to a poster of Jay Mohr in his bedroom
  14. Jay Mohr is gonna be my new guess on everything
  15. I'm still giggling uncontrollably about Chris Mohr

  21. After many years of discussion with my therapist, I have come to realize it was Grimace's fault
  22. Me too, I was six years old and had learned to love the Cowboys that season. I had gotten a bunch of Cowboys stuff for Christmas that year and was pumped. Some dumbass kid invited me to a birthday party at McDonald's during the game and my mom made me go. I set up all my Cowboys stuff on the couch to watch the game for me. We heard the catch on the radio driving home from the party and I got home to find some of my stuff had been knocked off the couch by the dog. I blamed myself. It was traumatic.
  23. That was a little more than a year before Pearl Harbor. Lots of people in that pic were not long away from service in WWII. Gave even more meaning to Texas Memorial Stadium.
  24. dumbass sooner, shoulda let it go out of bounds
  25. Ha ha, dumbass sooner. shoulda just knocked it down.
