we did lose a lot, no question...20 kids were eligible this year, 14 were drafted, the remaining 6 all signed UDFA contracts.
but our cupboard isn't bare by any means...early '21 draft projection have us with 4 first rounders.
in addition to Shelvin, i fully expect our entire starting DL to be drafted, 2 OL (Deculus and Ingram) will be drafted, and our best players aren't yet draft eligible (Stingley, Clark, Emery and Ty Davis).
we'll be okay...we won't have a team like we did this year...but we'll be a goddamn tough out for anyone.
y'all will suck

Ha. You think Blake needs money, and that's what is driving all of this? Maybe we should have shown up to the Walker Little Household with 10k in cash as well so they could have used it as TP after wareheim left. It would have made all the difference.
I said a reunion for Blake to jar up some old nostalgia..and yes..kids love cash... even if their parents are loaded

I'm here as well. Without the Brocks, this isn't going to sniff being a great class, and it might not sniff being a "Good" class. The Arizona kid is fine, but lets not conflate the fact that it is a banner year at O-Line in Texas and it will be a banner year for Texas. The Brocks make or break it, unless something else DRASTICALLY changes between now and the fall, and that doesn't look likely. Byrd is trending far away from Texas. Jackson is committed to Ohio State. Foster seems destined for OU currently. If we don't land the brocks, this position for this class becomes a big ole' fat, stinky, turd. It won't just be a shit class, it will be a wildly shit class considering the talent that was available in Texas and us basically whiffing on every one of them.
Someone tell me how this OL class will be great without the Brocks, Savion Byrd, Bryce Foster, and Donovan Jackson, please.
Well then you and CTJ, being surlys 1%ers, better go out and start handing out bags and doing a reunion party for Blake to jar up some old nostalgia

In a worst case scenario, Brocks decide not to play and attend the best University in the world and go to backward ass Bama...
Who would the staff jump on? And who do you think they would actually close on realistically? I've heard the name of Walden and Miller out of AZ a bunch of times, but I never felt that we would land them. I'm thinking it's probably Fatheree and Wykoff?

Deuce Harmon. LJ Johnson (probably not as great as they feel). I mean, are we talking realistically or what Liucci says?
They still think Foster is an aggy lean right now.. and fatheree

yeah the Brocks would cement this class, just wished they were like Sam and Milroe and already commit, selling other players on jumping aboard.

How much do we like Nabers? We offered this weekend, and I don't think he'll make LSU's class

Doesn't look too bad.. He looks taller on camera than his listed height of 6'1

Call me naive but I still think we have a great shot to land Foster.

Rumors, currently without substance, are that Camar Wheaton has chosen and is informing coaches of a decision.
Has to be either us or ou, right?

So... after all the confidence IT kept pushing about Landon Jackson.. I wonder if they will explain why they were and what happened... or was it just a $9.95 thing?

Burris is a DT. The other dudes play end/edge.
then why is Shemar Turner's name being mentioned? I thought he was a DT..or is that because he's only a big 12 DT caliber player?

How does it make me feel? It makes me feel like Tyler Owens back to safety.
I mean would Nwokobia or however you spell his name make Owens stay at LB?

This gem from Looch has some Jaylen Garth potential.
Still, losing him hurts, no two ways around it. He, Sanders (Texas), Shemar Turner and Jordon Thomas are the four SEC West caliber guys in state this year at the position.
wait..no mention of Burris being a SEC west caliber player?!?

Undrafted means just that, "UNDRAFTED". The Big 12 is a shit show. There is no other way to slice it. Something has to change fast or we go down with the ship. Not too sure that isn't baked into the cake at this point. And by the way, "we're baaaack".
Jesus christ.. i get it with the negative Texas takes..but now you wanna use the conference as an excuse..If we were in the SEC and still only had 3 players drafted, would you would feel better since the SEC got soo many kids drafted?

Oh so you think dipshit can herman can flip him? Lol.
And stop you and sataya from hogging the magic wand at the news of jackson going to LSU?? nope.

Sunday night just got better..#HookEm

He was never going to Texas anyhow. Herman is trash and put 3 guys in the league. Same number of players as Memphis and Oregon state. Yes oregon state who wins like 3 games a year.
You and sataya should scissor each other..on broken glass

He's definately under rated, but I don't think any service has him as a 4*. He's definitely a good candidate for some future BOMC.
you know the 247 people will bump him off the bama and GA offers recently

you say that as if those predicting 'doom and gloom' weren't ultimately correct.
ugh.. because of the lackluster season? yes. But prior to the season we were riding high after the run of guys we had late July through August.. Yet we still closed strong with perhaps the best DL haul we have had in the last decade.. ALONG with a gamechanging 5 star RB.. but please keep crying

The Big 12 had 21 players total drafted into the NFL. Texas had 3. Holy shit something has to change. This is horrible. The Big 12 is a shit conference. Not sure I'm down for any merger whatsoever. This is like being at a party with a room full of fat chicks.....
if Texas had 8 players drafted over the weekend.. would you really care about the big 12 conference total numbers? Geez homie, grab you a tecate and relax man.
