    Yeah, it's weird.

Didn't Patterson run Meacham off so that Cumbie could be the play caller? From what I remember, that wasn't exactly a cordial separation.

yep, and they (frog insiders) were saying Meacham rubbed people the wrong way and Gary felt that Cumbie was the real OC.. so he told Meacham to look for another place.  Funny since Cumbie can't develop a QB..  And it's not like they haven't recruited any big prospects either.

**Also, wasn't Cumbie given the reigns after Charlie tried to bring him to Austin as well?**

Don’t get me wrong, Princely is a moron that gave us a few funny gifs with Jimbo...  but he’s not wrong.  Poona and Omenihu are examples of guys that had great tape against good teams, they had conference accolades, they performed well at the senior bowls... yet moronic gms didn’t see them as high or mid round draft pics.

We haven't had a legit DE leave us since Omenihue .. It's up to the player not the conference..atleast that's what i choose to believe

I mean, what would you call it, man? You expect me to believe that we did everything we should have, and that the current conference situation is exactly what is best? It seems that something, somewhere, in the Big 12 war room went FUBAR, and our AD in fact played a part in that mess. Four teams left, and it now seems that nobody has been better for it. Call me a troll, or neg bomb me, whatever you want. Hopefully, CDC can do what is optimal for the University, for both the long and short-term time frames.

  4. If that Big Cigar take was serious on that IT update.. I don't think this Pac expansion is gonna happen.  Feels like CDC is going to grab the next round of realignment by the balls.  I have a feeling we will be in the SEC or Big..WITH LHN in tow

Plus our commercials, scheduling, having a conference championship game, the ridicule Bowlsby deserves every-time he opens his mouth, pretty much everything this conference does is dumb.

I actually think it has paid off having the championship game, not just financially but to cement a spot in the CFP.  We haven't had an undefeated team go into the CCG as of yet.  I'll understand the frustration once an undefeated team goes in there and gets upset by a 3 loss team.

Except that didn't happen in Australia when it ravaged the country in February during their summer, and there is no study indicating that the transmission rates are substantially lessened in hotter climates. It might happen. But the data more strongly supports the assertion that heat does not kill the virus or impact its transmission.

People typically do not show symptoms until 4-5 days after infection. Then they slowly get sicker and sicker, typically waiting until the very last possible moment before admitting they have to go to the hospital. That's usually well past the two-week point of infection. Also, not everyone gets infected the first day of reopening.  I'd say we won't any initial data of the impact of reopening for another two weeks, and then we won't have a full sense of the impact until early to mid July.

  7. I would like to believe in Nahlin but he's been off lately.. from the high on Landon Jackson sunshine to now saying the Brocks are trending to us..  I would hope the conference would piss CDC and Texas off, then I would feel better knowing we will find a better place to play

Even if we assume Foster hasn't committed to OU already, why are they continuing to include Foster in their class projections? Seems like there's been plenty of smoke for Texas/OU/Oregon at different times but nothing in favor of A&M other than the familial relations.

I mean, obviously we know why, but asking hypothetically.

Because they will get everyone til they back off with better evaluations

i'm not doing the projections so how is it my bias?  do you think as we open up the country over the summer that cases, hospitalizations and deaths will somehow decrease?

of course.. the sun and heat will kill it

Btw... Hutzler is definitely an upgrade for recruiting

Makes you that much more frustrated knowing Orlando was shitting the bed when it came to LB recruiting.

He would have been an aggy, but they didn't have room.

He mentioned it this weekend in Demas' Instagram live per several folks. Here's the thing: If the Ags has an available spot, yeah, my prediction would absolutely be that he'd end up an Aggie. The only way that would have happened would have been if someone didn't qualify from the 2021 class, thus leaving the Ags one spot under their 'initial counter' limit. That's not going to happen. And not that the Ags wanted to see any of their signees not qualify, but any guys who were on the borderline at any program got a big assist in terms of everythnig that happened in terms of school getting cut short etc.

Yeah, the rumor making the rounds (including on message boards...imagine that) is TCU as a landing spot has some real treaty to it.

So they didn't lose his recruitment, they ran out of spots?

  12. I watched a news segment on Newsy a few days ago and they discussed how Oxford University (England) were leading the world with finding a vaccine.  In fact it did well in lab mice/rats and rabbits.  They were awaiting permission to start human testing and if everything continued as planned, they could have the first vaccines available for the public as soon as September.  So there is still hope out there that a vaccine can be ready for the fall. Till then, schools need to have tests available for the players and a plan on how to isolate the players that do test positive.
