  1. Quinn has had a very good season so far. I don't care about how much the team likes Murphy, that doesn't mean he is going to automatically come in and move the offense up and down the field with his overpowering throws on the swagger route. I certainly hope he does, but I expect this to be a fairly conservative first game.
  2. Texas 29 BYU 13 Malik 18 attempts for 175 yards
  3. This might be the weirdest coaching situation I have ever seen. What coach abandons his team in the middle of the season and flies to Chicago to meet with the bears? The only other situation I can recall like this would be Bobby Petrino ditching the Falcons, but even that was not the same. This is worse than the Urban Meyer bar incident if it actually turns out to be something real. What must Kingsbury be thinking right about now? Has Riley been quiet fired? Has he quiet quit? I would laugh my ass off if he does go to the NFL and winds up with the first pick and picks Williams.
  4. The next time he pops up, he may have just been elected president... of his HOA.
  5. I would love to kick Drinkowitz in the nuts on the way into the conference and have the Mizzou boards do a PTSD meltdown about big bad Texas. Alas, it likely won't happen, but I am here for it if it does.
  6. Shoutout to GDGD. For his next trick he is going to run QB power with Major Applewhite.
  7. https://www.foxnews.com/sports/utsa-football-coach-says-finger-looks-like-smashed-by-hammer-motivation-tactic-backfires.amp University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) football coach Jeff Traylor hoped to motivate his team not to "eat the cheese" after back-to-back victories over Temple and the University of Alabama at Birmingham, but instead he got injured in the process. Traylor revealed during a press conference Monday that he and his staff put out more than 100 rat traps in the team’s locker room, hoping to channel the messaging of Hall of Fame coach Bill Parcells. "We unloaded all of them, but one of my smart aleck seniors loaded his back up, put it up on the podium where I speak to the kids, and I put my hand there – yeah, it looks like my pinky got smashed by a hammer." "It would’ve killed a lesser man, but I’m OK," he said with a laugh. UTSA head coach Jeff Traylor (Carmen Mandato/Getty Images/File) Despite the injury, Traylor’s message was well received. Quarterback Frank Harris overcame a pick-6 and threw for 261 yards and two touchdowns to defeat Florida Atlantic, 36-10, on Saturday. 8. I am sure he can just get Venables to give him the notes. I am 99% certain they had our signals last game.
  9. Normally that would be the idea, but because they were so worried about him running, it was opening the windows behind the backers instead of in front. It was a gamble, but it was also a way to get our guys off the field if we got into a shootout. If they scored, it would be in 7 plays not 15. Since we were so thin at DB our guys would have been gassed.
  10. What the dont tell you is that it is a Texas Death Match in the parking lot every morning where guys are beating the shit out of each other with chairs and tire irons trying to be the first one in. The building that day. It is great for team chemistry.
  11. Shallow crossing routes seem to be the en vogue thing for offenses this season. Plus, our linebackers were absolutely intent on not letting Donovan Smith run last game, and I think that is the thing they were prepared to live with. I saw both linebackers shooting up into the line the moment Smith even thought about running. It is probably PTSD from the Tech game where he just kept converting 4th downs over and over with his legs.
  12. That might be the goofiest looking hype photo I have ever seen.
  13. Kris Ross'll make the jump jump Coach Sark kicked to the portal portal... I hate myself for posting this.
  14. We need to post security at every gate to make sure than nobody with a michigan football badge comes in the week before.
  15. I love how he just glossed over the "sales" part of executive.
  16. Ryan Day should forfeit, that would show them.
  17. Making effortless throws with lots of touch =/= having an average arm.
  18. Would you want to get into a shootout with this cowboy?
