The battle scenes could have been straight out of Tropic Thunder. I think I saw 2-3 trampolines where dudes jumped like storm troopers after bombs exploded. Battle scenes looking cool with CGI, and dramatic music, sell tickets and save money for the studio. But they’re not successful in demonstrating the horrors of violence, especially when the main protagonist is a pacifist. Its like whats his problem? I thought he was a pussy until he saved all those soldiers. Had Gibson searched his own resume, he could have watched Gallipoli. When you watch that movie, you’re like, “no fuckin way!” Getting back to Pam Anderson. The premise of the movie is that she was exploited in the 90’s and had her privacy violated. But, now she’s being exploited again with this movie, recreating and lampooning and sexualizing her likeness. I havent watched the movie, so I dont know the full context. Is this wrong?
