  1. Gadot is a solid WW. Making her a female Superman was a mistake. She hardly needs a bracelet and lasso if she is made of steel and can survive machine gun turrets and cannons, while jumping 100 yards in the air. Think they should have made her more Jason Bourne. Even Captain America was unnecessarily elevated. The best scenes are always hand to hand fight scenes with worthy villains or roughing up assholes. I guess that bores the CGI guys and makes it more difficult for writing teams
  2. You mean the special master opinion that was completely obliterated? lYou mean these boxes? and news reports of boxes being delivered to Trump Tower? I think we can downgrade this scandal to the pile. It can be elevated again based on the value of state secrets being mishandled. Then, if it’s substantive, the next scandal would be on the Justice Department for dithering around with our National Security.
  3. Whining to refs has shown little to no efficacy (as demonstrated by your own example Matt Campbell) and would probably backfire against Texas coaches. Even prior to the SEC announcement, there is statistically significant evidence as well as bizarre calls on the field that demonstrate a consistent pattern of official discrimination against Texas football ranging back to 2014. A new Texas coach, without Texas football bonafides or impressive reputation, will not change this pattern by strenuously objecting to bs calls and no calls throughout the game. My sense is that Texas coaches purposefully downplay the impact of ref fuckery in order to keep the players focused on overcoming all of this bullshit.
  4. They’ve done a great job with Valentina, starting her as a side character and developing her storyline. Early in the show she was portrayed as more well-mannerered and put together, and with dialogue, poor make-up choices, and severe angles degrade her persona, where she could qualify for the WTF thread. Lucia and Mia are worth visiting the bank and believable honeypots that dudes and ladies risk everything for. Debating them is like debating Michelangelo vs Leonardo. They’d turn both of them straight.
  5. You dated a young Cameron Diaz type? Yeah, sure.
  6. If you joined a 130-team fantasy football league and the original owners of the league got to vote on who makes the playoffs, you would pass. The system has been stupid and was designed to placate bowl organizers and keep incumbent business interests flush with cash. All arguments pro were after the fact justifications 12-team playoff is much better than 4. But the core issues lie in a decentralized system of rules, compliance, and scheduling. Its like boxing
  7. You’re falling for the honeypot as well. Think she’s improvising. They’re doing what they need to to survive. Gave no fucks about poisoning the piano player. remember the grandfather talking about women being just like men
  8. Its called Game of Thrones season 8 and House of the Dragon. When its pitch black its actually all the characters going to sleep
  9. Part of the dismantling of modern democracy includes literal dismantling of democracy by republicans leaders by making it more difficult to vote, throwing out votes and voters, extreme gerrymandering, preventing legislation from being voted on in a systematic fashion, co-opting the news, and back channel coordination with the partisan justices. The Left has long frowned upon worship of white framers and have undermined the importance of constitutional protection. With social media, this can be amplified in insidious ways to encourage people to not give a shit. You see Herschel Walker and Amy Coney Barrett and its like being a patron at a circus.
  10. You beat the shit out of that strawman
  11. Brutal “In possession the US seemed constantly active, playing with the manic intensity of Scrappy Doo in front of a bad guy.”
  12. Now imagine if the cousin looked like this?
  13. Seemed like they rope a doped us. This team looked tired from the get go and had some get scrambling moments. But the Dutch had legit ops against outmanned defenders.
  14. June 17, 1994 is amazing
  15. Daphne stonecold revealing blonde trainer is baby daddy. Cam/Daphne are both major league degenerates. And Lucia has crazy good body but not in Top 5 HBO sets all-time. Shes not even Top 2 in White Lotus history.
  16. I think this is fair. The conservative playcalling with 2nd half leads has been inexplicable. Less motion, less diversity in plays. The scoring droughts. His ability as an offensive mind reminds me of Russian chessmasters who can destroy less experienced opponents who dont know what they’re trying to do. But when things breakdown, are less dominant as they improvise.
  17. Kanye Clayton Bisby
  18. To go from 45 white house, an impeachment, survive a coup attempt, another impeachment, then follow that Thing to MLago, just wow. Then have the consciousness to make a judgment that things are going from weird to weirder? And still staying. You show great compassion to accept her. btw, pics of your cousin not showing up.
  19. She was nominated for an Emmy for White Lotus, Season 1, which included the most hilarious sequence in recent history. And she’s in like a million movies and tv shows. She’s certainly worthy of headlining an Old Navy ad.
  20. Its the Spite Store business model. He’s playing with other people’s money and there’s unlimited dark money from authoritarian governments that see it as a platform for journalists and activists. They want it gone. And there’s a lot of compromising private info there for the taking. The PGA is targeted with a new competitor paying billions for exhibition matches Ukraine is targeted (literally) Twitter is targeted and is being gutted and poised to be the next scat site Further and more implicit discussion on what’s happening and why is not necessary and more CR But for all the talk about freedom of speech, it remains an anti-trust issue (one company with so much power). Our laws are light years from providing consumers options in the market place. There is no service like Twitter and its going to leave an enormous hole, scattering communication and communities throughout the world. Its also may be a national security issue. Compromising conversations and massive data sent to adversarial foreign governments is a potential disaster.
  21. When you look at subjective calls against Texas since 2014, it would shock most people. When Herman was asked about the 10:1 (or something like that) PI ratio against his team, he replied that his receivers needed to attract more penalties. One explanation is that our players lack fundamentals. Its not out of the realm of possibility that JAGS like Tristan Nicholson and Denzel Okafor were so lacking in technique and athleticism that they were unable to engage defenders except with a desperate and obvious hold. Further, you could look at our 2021 secondary and see defenders panicking to find the ball, often committing blatant fouls. But a combination of sight and statistics tell a story of systemic bias against Texas. Betting on Texas more likely than not means being defrauded by the Big12, either willfully or willfully ignorant.
  22. Fits the pattern of a rando. Happened in Austin in the 1870’s, where (mostly) women were bludgeoned to death in their sleep. https://www.amazon.com/Midnight-Assassin-Americas-Serial-Killer/dp/1250118492 Should be required reading in Austin. The murders were spread out from south congress to west campus and probably a few along the railways outside of Austin . The police were completely befuddled. Scapegoats (and arrests) included husbands, boyfriends, minorities, mental patients, people that discovered the bodies, and drifters. The murderer was never caught, nor identified, and this book didnt speculate too much. But seen where one suspect was identified for some other violent act, then killed, and then the murders stopped.
  23. Do they have that deconstructed hamburger?
  24. He played a key role in ensuring that: 1) Cock blocking Saban 2) Using recruiting visits before he left 3) Encouraging recruits to decommit 4) Leaving cupboard bare, especially on offense. 5) Good or bad, his role in the culture in the football program and athletic department His under recruiting the QB position messed with development and redshirts for years (Case and Swoopes and Ash). Then the miss with Jerrod Heard (during Charlie Strong) who was an uncommon QB redshirt was devastating. Had Heard developed we’d be in business.
