  1. My detective work: a fine chica like that (RIP) is not left alone for a single minute at a house party.
  2. SIAP https://www.chron.com/news/article/texas-am-student-death-ut-game-21217278.php? Police already determined no foul play. Seems like a hasty conclusion. Word to the wise: do not get drugged, drowned, or defenestrated in Austin. They’ll sprinkle some fentanyl on the body and call it a day.
  3. Between Trump saying we’ll kill traffickers on land and public comments on this from Pete Hegseth, they must know we’re stupid. Here are 10 direct public quotes from Hegseth on these strikes: Here are 10 direct quotes attributed to Pete Hegseth concerning strikes on drug traffickers, based on the context provided: "We will treat those cartels like the al-Qaeda of the Western Hemisphere. and we'll put them at the bottom of the Caribbean." "As we've said before, vessel strikes on narco-terrorists will continue until their ... poisoning of the American people stops.” "If you are a narco-terrorist smuggling drugs in our hemisphere, we will treat you like we treat Al-Qaeda." "Day or NIGHT, we will map your networks, track your people, hunt you down, and kill you.” "We smoked a drug boat. and there's 11 narot terrorists at the bottom of the ocean." "Our current operations in the Caribbean are lawful under both U.S. and international law, with all actions in compliance with the law of armed conflict—and approved by the best military and civilian lawyers, up and down the chain of command.” "Four male narco-terrorists aboard the vessel were killed in the strike," which "was conducted in international waters... while the vessel was transporting substantial amounts of narcotics — headed to America to poison our people." "Every trafficker we kill is affiliated with a Designated Terrorist Organization." "What could be a bigger defense of this country than keeping out this poison that's killing thousands of Americans every year?" (Although the context notes this was Risch, other sources attribute similar sentiment directly to Hegseth justifying the actions. To adhere strictly to the direct quotes attributed to him, we will use another one.) "The declared intent is to stop lethal drugs, destroy narco-boats, and kill the narco-terrorists who are poisoning the American people.”
  4. Its really a Derka and other movie nerds nightmare in that scenes involve all characters having some line of dialogue, sometimes clever or witty and they over explain everything. But yeah, it’s now a guilty pleasure.
  5. I guess the camping ban really messed you up. Who picked you in the draft?
  6. And think of that movie as a Kubrick movie like Dr Strangelove. It was not meant to be subtle.

  8. I should I have posted in the offseason, but historically here are our goals each year. It corresponds roughly with the quarters of season. Goal 1 - Win All Non-Conference Games This will usually cover the first part of the season and helps the team get to a good start. Goal 2 - Beat OU Our biggest rivals, who we play in a prestige game. They usually are very good and we’ve been conference mates for 30 years. I’d be down for including ATM and Arkansas but they’re not nearly as good historically and can be lumped in with the next goal. Goal 3 - Win the Conference This is a key goal in that it encompasses most of the schedule and comes with a meaningful title. Goal 4 - Win Your Post-Season Whatever the end game is, you win it. Whether you get into the playoff or just the Weedeater Bowl, you win it. This ends your season on a high note and helps momentum. And could mean a national title. These are the real goals. It’s not 10 wins. It’s not a Top 10 finish. These are your substantive goals that help build and maintain focus for people involved in the program. Complete all four and you will win the national championship. Three goals achieved leads to massive success and greatness. Two goals achieved is good. We still can do it and it’s an accomplishment. Achieve only one goal is OK. Back to Back one goal seasons leads to the hot seat. Achieve no goals and you could get fired.
  9. Objectively his first month of the season was horrific. He had the yips against UTEP and parts of San Jose St. He was breaking inaccuracy records and looked like Ty Swoopes. I believe he was one bad quarter away from being benched. His recovery has been impressive. Now I’m worried he’ll turn pro. My advice to him and his family is to return and not make a big deal about returning. That being said, I think if the Saints have the first or second pick behind the Titans, they’d be down after some conversations.
  10. The flat footed to fast ball throws need to go. He did one or two tonight. The easy throws need to get easier. But damn hes got talent.

  17. Also, Cheney’s administration made sure torture was legalized https://www.politico.com/story/2014/12/dick-cheney-white-house-113566 No regerts Cheney was a piece of shit, very much weaponized institutions, and lied to start a war. But at least he didnt go out of his way to inflict pain. It was mostly business, an adopted neocon politics, sought to wield the military around the world to expand his power. He was smart and tough, and highly ambitious. He did the right thing when it was expedient. He was concerned about middle eastern terror after he stirred up the hornets nest.
  18. You seem to have negative understanding of health care systems and economics. And I never seen that you want to regulate lobbying, which would require [checks notes] government legislation and regulation.
