  1. Chad Fuck

    Brazil

Brasil has more accountability than the US, given the news of the dropping of the GA case voting case against tfg.
  2. Yeah, but he's less a songwriter than a virtuoso. Which also has its place. But c'mon, Broke Down South of Dallas and Highway Patrol are just plain fun.
  3. As someone who travels internationally on the reg, I'm now concerned about a "fuck the Americans" tax being applied in those places. I suppose it's a double win for the admin - keep people like me from getting exposed to dangerous outside ideas by making it economically disadvantageous to travel and keeping out them danged furriners.
  4. It was awful. What's really turned me off is while the crowd as a whole was pretty gobsmacked, there were a few people here and there applauding. Everything about him is contrary to the ideals of Scouting. It's why for the first time ever a potus hasn't been invited to speak at the next National Jamboree. And probably why Whiskey Pete is floating the balloon of withdrawing any military assistance.
  5. @Ojo Rojo @Gatorubet@Hagbard Celine Bringing y'all into the discussion over here so as not to further derail the Tfg America thread. Regarding the leaving of the LDS, I'm ok with it. They have their own beliefs, one of which included excluding gay people. I was struggling about the concept of rejoining while that whole debate was going on. At that point though, it was theoretical because Chad Jr. hadn't come along yet. Having rejoined Scouting after that whole episode, we've had same sex couples as parents in our Cub unit, but I haven't seen it in our Troop yet. It's a shame the LDS decided to leave over that issue, but I can't see we're worse off for it. All I know for sure is as long as I'm Troop Committee Chair, the only litmus test for kids going camping is whether they want to go camping within the guidelines of the Scout Oath and Law. Having spoken with my main connection at Scouting HQ yesterday, I get the sense that the super conservative older generation - the ones who stood in the way of co-ed Scouting - are slowly going away. I think that's a good thing for the organization as a whole. On a more local level, we did have a parent pull their Scout out recently because he thought the Citizenship in Society requirements were "too woke." That's a shame because his son was a real super Scout and was on the fast track to Eagle. Just an all around good kid. Really hated to see him go.
  6. Once again, Russia uses an opportunity to drag their balls on our faces. What a fucking clown show.
  7. I'm sorry to have to ask this, but which of today's refugee things? Getting rid of TPS for Somalis? Americans being detained, shot at and shot for being brown? I'm sorry, there are just too many options here.
  8. This clown show is more looking more and more like this:
  9. There should be a generally sad reaction. For texts like this when generally good but misguided people realized they fucked up. Like this, but in a reaction:
  10. Well, when I first saw this bit I was five. So physical comedy was my jam. I thought Mr. Bill was the peak of comedic humor.
  11. I didn't get the Orienteering of the Innerwebz merit badge.
  12. We had a decent Scout thread going but I can't seem to find it right now?
  13. As a current Scout leader, I have seen much less of this. Like any volunteer organization, I suspect it strongly depends on the quality of volunteers in your local unit. I can truthfully say that amongst our leadership, I'm not entirely sure where everyone stands politically. Be we all stand together in the focus on our youth. Going camping, cleaning up parks, and generally having fun while doing good works should not have to be a political act.
