  1. There is injury chatter around Whitmore apparently. That at least makes some sense but if Jett Howard has a better career than him I’ll fist futureman.
  2. Does Whitmore have an injury or something? This is one of those things where everybody over thinks it and the next thing you know Tyrese Halliburton is available ten picks later than he should have gone.
  3. Jett Howard? Terrible pick. Wtf Orlando. This is why you always fucking suck.
  4. Fucking hell okc is getting Cason Wallace. My favorite non Wemby player in this draft.
  5. Dallas has to take Whitmore. Big break for them.
  6. So the fucking clown show that is the wizards just gave the Pacers two second round picks to move up one spot to take a player who would have been available not only at their own pick but probably five more picks down the line.
  7. It was better when Stephen A was screaming all over the place, which is about as big of an insult as I can make about the current broadcast.
  8. Ok here we go. The draft just got interesting. Let’s see where Whitmore goes.
  9. No kidding. Think about the road from Kawhi landing on Zaza Pachulia's foot in 2017 WCF to today. Might masturbate? I've been jerking it non-stop since they pulled Charlotte's card at the lottery. Full on callouses at this point.
  10. It wouldn't shock me to see CP3 get traded again after this. I don't get how he fits at all in Oakland. I can't imagine this was anything but a straight up salary dump for the Warriors. I think they have to wait for some bogus NBA deadline in July to make this trade go through, but after that I could see him getting moved again.
  11. And the fucking Wizards couldn't even get this year's #19 from them for taking that horrible contract? A protected pick 7 years from now for taking on one of the worst contracts in the league from a team that was otherwise completely fucked on the second apron? Holy shit the new guys in Washington are inept.
  12. Jordan Poole is going to shoot the ball about 40 times a game on a 15 win team.
  13. There's talk of them trying to move up to get Wemby's teammate Bilal Coulibali. But if you hear something about their intentions, you can almost guarantee it's bullshit. But it makes sense for them to try to move up. They had three rookies last year. They have three picks this year. And they have potentially three more first round picks next year and two more second round picks. They can't handle nearly that many rookies/young players. So yeah, for them to consolidate some picks and move into the mid to late first round seems like the move. I would think they would go for one of the point guards if one slips (hopefully Cason Wallace) or one of the long wings.
  14. Thank you. I confused him with the other Williams that they're likely going to lose in free agency, especially now that they have Porzingis. I actually like Grant Williams game some. Solid three point shooter. Does a little bit of everything. Undersized but he'd be a good fit for somebody like the Mavs if they could figure out their cap.
  15. So the Bullets turned Hachimura, Beal, Porzingis and Kuzma into a grand total of zero first round draft picks? I guess they may be able to get some draft capital out of CP3 and Jones, and I know their hands were tied with Beal's no trade clause and the player options for Kuzma and Porzingis, but holy shit that seems like a terrible return. Did their new front office learn nothing from working for Sam Presti? The rebuild is off to an outstanding start. Can't wait for them to botch pick #8 tonight. They will probably outsmart themselves and reach for that chucker from Baylor or the big guy from Duke who "looked great shooting the ball in workouts" but played like shit in the actual games. And while the numbers for Porzingis look fantastic, he's been terrible in the locker room in both Dallas and New York. That's not even getting into his injury history. The Celtics swapping out Smart for him on a team that has had culture issues is certainly a move. Then again, when you trade the heart and soul of a team that played with no heart and no soul, what have you really given up? I guess they won the trade, but that offense was stagnant as hell and they just got rid of the only guy who consistently moved the ball for them. I'm sure second row Joe will have that offense humming. Smart should be a great fit for Memphis. He's everything good that Dillon Brooks did sans the dumbass antics. He really fills a need for them and can slide over when Ja gets back. I think it's a fantastic move for the Grizzlies. That's exactly what that franchise needed.
  16. The Celtics are also going to lose Robert Williams in free agency and need to bolster their front court.
  17. Their backcourt is too crowded with Smart, White, Brogdan and Pritchard. White was arguably their second most valuable player in the Heat series and he’s on a very team friendly deal. No way they’re moving him. Smart is part of their long term core while carrying a pretty big cap figure. I think he’s difficult to trade. Pritchard is still on a rookie deal but wants / deserves regular minutes or to be moved. Brogdan is in the last year of his contract and massively injury prone. He’s the odd man out.
  18. Just listened to Wemby on JJ Redick podcast. Highly recommend. The kid is beyond impressive. Forget the physical evaluation which is almost beyond comprehension, but the mental evaluation is rather mind blowing. He’s super likable and humble and insightful. It’s incredible how lucky this franchise is.
  19. Lol Malcolm Brogdon to Clippers is completely on brand for a franchise that has had their fortunes consistently derailed by injuries going back to Bill Walton in the 70s. Great fucking idea to double down on more injury prone guys. What could go wrong?
  20. Disagree big time about this draft being garbage. Ignoring for a minute that it has the best overall prospect in a generation and the highest rated point guard in at least a decade, this draft is as deep as any I can remember. There are going to be busts but you can find first round talent probably through about the first 40-45 picks.
  21. No kidding. Hell hath no fury… On one hand he probably should have just cut the check to begin with but at this point he’s better off riding it out. Nobody really cares who you fuck these days or how big of a freak you are. How much more damage can she do? His image is already garbage.
  22. isiah’s got the wheel. This is all starting to make a lot more sense now that we have confirmation that one of the worst GMs in league history who drove the Knicks into cap hell is back at it. Good luck suns fans. You’re going to need it. Say goodbye to about the next decade.
  23. They for sure needed to tear it down after 40 years of being lost in the desert but these things usually get kick started by dumping your assets for as many picks as possible. They got jack shit back. It bottles the mind when you look at what Utah got for Gobert or what the Spurs got for Dejounte Murray.
