  1. CDC said in the town hall we won’t be adding any men’s sports.
  2. I don’t know about the Loge boxes, but for our tier 1 tickets that chart is only showing the ticket price, and does not include the required seat gift. So yes, a bit misleading.
  3. A selection of the Q and A from tonight’s town hall
  4. I'm fine with ESPN, but would have liked to see another network like FOX get a piece, just for a bit of variety and to decrease the chokehold ESPN has on the sport. It says they could still sublicense some games, but I wonder how likely that actually is.
  5. I thought the Siri maps bit was too over the top with the yelling. But generally liked the episode. The Brook/Brookie rule was great, classic Curb stuff. Sharlto Copley? Never know who’s gonna pop up in this show. and…. ”I have a structured settlement But I NEED CASH NOOOW! CALL JG WENTWORTH…” lmao had to do it.
  6. Yeah, for WC's prior to Qatar, I'm pretty sure the kickoff times were also predetermined based on the draw, not just dates and sites. FIFA got that right: waiting until after the draw and setting KO times to better accommodate a team's home TV audience.
  7. USMNT games will be Friday June 12, Friday June 19, Thursday June 25. LA, Seattle, LA
  8. Thank god we grabbed the ball there after the travel wasn’t called
  9. Holy fuck what a sequence. Dumb lass and then shedrick with the needless goaltend
  10. Hunter on a disadvantaged fast break is always a disaster
  11. Foot was on the line for that TCU 3. looks like they got it right
  12. Hunter has had total butterfingers recently
  13. Past Lives now on Paramount+. Really good. A simple, yet very touching story.
  14. This guy actually thinks illegal immigrants are falling over themselves to vote in our elections once/IF they achieve legal status. Come on
  15. The uninformed and recycled takes are indeed annoying but at least the Hardline dedicates multiple segments per week to CFB. It felt like Dan and Jake did about 20 minutes total CFB talk this season. I do have CFB podcasts to get that stuff, but still the dominance of Cowboys talk on the DZ is a bit tedious for me. Not unlike The ticket in general I guess and it easy to skip ahead at least.
  16. Were in Austin not too long ago https://www.instagram.com/p/CyPoCHhuGUa/?igsh=aW5zbWl2cWlyMjh4
  17. We’re a soft ass school and are about to get punched in the mouth, in every sport, apparently. I don’t even get his point. It came up in the discussion about the horns down nonsense from BYU. Is he saying all our teams are going to fold because the fans are too mean? Or is it that all these powerhouse SEC programs are going to beat us straight up? Biggest fucking eye roll.
  18. https://www.statesman.com/story/news/state/2024/01/30/total-solar-eclipse-2024-texas-school-closures-april-8-classes/72405054007/ Natural phenomena like solar eclipses are exciting for adults and children alike. A total solar eclipse is coming in April, and some Texas school districts are already preparing. Many Central Texas cities will fall in the path of totality in the early afternoon of April 8. Some have announced canceled classes for the day to allow students to experience the eclipse. “This is a once-in-a-lifetime thing," Lisa Sullivan, communications director with the City of Dripping Springs, told KXAN. "It only happens in the same area every 300 years." Visiting Austin for the solar eclipse?Make reservations now, officials say Other school districts, such as Liberty Hill ISD and Marble Falls ISD, have called off classes in anticipation of an influx of tourists into the area. Instead of a typical school day, they have deemed April 8 as a professional development day. “It was kind of a win-win for us. We didn’t lose any instructional time, we just adjusted our schedule slightly,” Todd Washburn, assistant superintendent at Liberty Hill ISD, told KXAN.
