  1. I say get Sam over 300 yds with 5 TDs on our next drive then get the backups some reps.
  2. Damn. RIP Cedric. Watched you destroy my HS on the field in El Paso and knew you were going to be a beast at UT. You were there at the 40 acres at the same time as me and I used to see you around campus all the time, especially at Dobie, usually with a beautiful girl on your arm. 6 mos younger than me. Too young. Thanks for the memories.
  3. Cue the conspiracy theorists re: who let him off himself or better yet who offed him to protect all of the powerful friends who partook in his Lolita excursions

    The Boys

Pissed that I binged it in 3 days and have to wait who knows how long to get the next season. Loved it and I'm a comic book /super hero movie lover.
  5. Damn. Parents live there (I graduated HS there) but they're on the other side of town, not shopping at Cielo Vista thank goodness. Crazy. As said before EP is actually a very safe city
  6. http://www.thefa.com/england/womens-seniors/squad Leah Williamson FTW
  7. This show is incredibly sad and disturbing. As a parent you feel for the main characters and how fucked up they are from their childhood experiences. Psycho closet jock dude had no chance in life after seeing his dad like that. Main character chick has daddy issues and psych disorders and tried drugs at a young age. I have a friend who is older with grown kids... He lost one son to a drug overdose and his other son is an addict in and out of rehab. I feel like drugs nowadays are harder and easier to access than when I was younger. Opiates and heroin terrify me. Seeing my friend's story and shows like this give me anxiety about my kids futures. Add in social media and it makes me want to raise my kids in a cave out in the wilderness.
  8. Loved the Keanu "whoa" during the credits. Great movie, still like #1 the best but this was good, better than 3. While I sat between my 4 and 5 year olds I thought about how a five-year-old that saw the original is now 29 years old. I feel old AF. I remember seeing the original when I was a teen in the theater.
  9. U serious Clark? NBA free agency is more entertaining than the reg. season.
  10. While I think drug companies are crooked as hell, I agree that there was not likely a financial reason behind this (other than the finances of wasting money on a clinical trial that wouldn't yield good results). They could have filed a patent for it and made money. Actually I bet they did file a patent in case it did. One case example is Allergan and their glaucoma drop Lumigan. A side effect of longer eye lash growth was discovered and they rebranded the same med as Latisse and sell it as a beauty product to enhance eye lashes. Both are still brand name prescriptions and making money.
  11. I went in ready to be disappointed and really enjoyed it. I thought Jasmine was hot but her new songs were annoying.
  12. I'm wary of Will Smith and I know nobody can top Robin Williams, but has anyone seen this? Initial reviews are mixed. My kids really want to see it this holiday weekend but I've got a 8 6 and 4 year old. I've seen some parent reviews saying this one is for 8 yr olds and up. Even if it's tacky I'm more concerned if it's too scary for the little ones.
  13. In relation to this, where did that giant explosion come from behind the gate? I just saw a fireball but no dragon hanging out back there. And I'm assuming this is why the archers did not attack ass the army advanced, they were surprised by the giant fireball
  14. Do the unsullied reproduce asexually? That army has taken a lot of hits and looks bigger than ever in that photo.
  15. The Drogon problem is probably why Bran is still there, I hope. Only way to really control Dany's one true advantage is for Bran to warg into it and kill it or even use it against her.
  16. I think that cersei's death was more in keeping with the show than any of the crap we saw in the previous four episodes. Just like nobody predicted how Ned would die or the events of the Red Wedding, everybody was assuming that she would have some horrible death with Justice being served. In the end, it was still pretty horrible for her to watch everything she had worked so hard for crumble around her and to die along with her incestuous love of her life and her unborn child. A quick beheading or stabbing wouldn't have allowed her to see all of her plans get burned up in the matter of about a half hour.
  17. I thought the hand touch was pretty weird myself, this Theory might make sense. But who would he be sending a raven to? Who doesn't already know that can even help? The note that he was writing earlier was just saying who he thought had the best claim to the throne.
  18. Oh right, sorry, blame the Dragon not the rider. Lemme guess, you want a dragon ban in Westeros to prevent further bloodshed.
  19. Now that I've had a few minutes to process this, Dany basically went nuts on the city and killed thousands of innocents because her loyal hairdresser got beheaded by a queen that didn't even care about the thousands that Dany torched. And this from the breaker of chains who is so compassionate...
  20. I thought the dragon vs. scorpions was done right this time. Last episode was some stupid shit but this one was how it should have gone down all along. You take an angle of approach that they can't hit you with, and then hit the walls/boats from the side so they can't turn those big stupid things fast enough to take a shot. Clearly they just needed to take out a dragon last episode, because this one would have been over in like 20 minutes if she had double burners. Would have been cooler if Jon had his dragon and tried to turn it against Drogon once he saw how batshit crazy Dany had become. Isn't Dany supposed to have blue or purple eyes? I kept thinking that Arya is going to realize the Red Witch prophecy was about Dany not Cersei and murder her. Would be appropriate that she takes out the 2 biggest threats to mankind.
  21. Is that fan art or official? Assuming fan due to wild fire. Also what else about 5 was bad, I can't remember. Was that Bron and Jamie's fantasmic adventures?
  22. Also Tormund said "you never know" when Jon said that it was goodbye. Setting up a reunion in the north when Jon gives Tyrion kings landing and goes back home. I did think that this episode was the end of Tyrion.
  23. Also why didn't she just take out Tyrion, let her archers take down the unsullied/Dany and have the dragon blasters kill off Dracarys? And why was Misandrei's last word Dracarys? Lots of WTF moments in this one. Also Jaime legit falling for Brienne is stupid. This episode sucked.
