Season 1 of the rehearsal started off great but went downhill fast. Honestly not sure what to think of this season so far.

Quinn "La Joya" Ewers - The Man The Myth The Mullet
HRSchenker replied to Coach pop a bitch's topic in Football
GG had more hype going into his freshman year than Quinn. That's just a fact. He was a 2x state champ, national gatorade player of the year, number one QB in Texas, yeah he didn't get the perfect score but he was still a huge prospect. We booed his ass off the field against BYU in the first quarter and we never saw him again. He doesn't even want to associate with the university. Say what you will about Quinn but we never treated him as poorly as we did Gilbert. -

FUCK YEAH! Glad we drafted a RB and we got a good one too. -
I swear to god it feels like some of these talking heads on ESPN and NFL Network may start crying at any moment. Mel Kiper Jr might go on a fucking hunger strike until Sanders is drafted.

I'm at the ballpark today in all green! -
I can't blame students for rejecting UT for lesser schools when it comes to certain majors. But the "faith-centered community" excuse is an interesting one. I never got that isolating feeling when I toured the campus but that was also 20 years ago.

My grandma has lived alone for 7 years now and it's still very hard for her to handle things on her own. Grandpa did everything for her and I mean everything. Taxes, car repair, bank accounts, dr appointments, lawn maintenance, etc. He passed away and now she's on her own to do things he always did for her. My mom and her siblings have been taking care of most things but when she's alone she is trouble. I don't mean "puts a pot on the stove at full blast and goes to sleep for the night" trouble. She has two neighbors. One is another old lady but a bit younger. 70 year old white lady. I reached out to her and said "hey if you see anything strange over there, here's my number just contact me and we'll get it taken care of". Her response was "please don't contact me ever again". Ooookay. Don't know what I did to her but okay we'll cross her off the list. The other neighbor is a younger hispanic couple (well, I say younger but I'm talking 40s with adult children). I did the same thing and they had no interest in helping her. Oooookay again. This is the grandma who cried when I made a road trip to see her, cried the entire time I was there because she was so happy to see me, and the cried when I had to leave. There's no way she's isolating herself like this. She has to be living next to two assholes, right? Last week we had a fence guy come out to her house for an estimate. Mom told her all she has to do is let them in so they can take some photos, measurements, etc. He's not going to do any repairs or work. It's just an estimate. He'll send us the estimate, we'll pay from her checking account, and then go from there. Fence guy calls my mom. "Hey I just left her house and you're gonna need to find another contractor. She's being very mean and I can't do this job." Mom repeatedly asks him what did she say, what did she say, what happened. All he would say is she needs to find someone else to repair the fence. Now it's becoming clear that it's not her neighbors that are the problem. It's her. She's been evaluated for dementia, alzheimers, etc. All negative. We've talked about maybe putting her in an assisted living facility but she doesn't want that. I'm not sure if I want that either since we already know how she treats her neighbors. Frustrating situation. -
We've had a ton of pharmacy burglaries in DFW over the last 10 months. Every one with a bolted down safe just had to ripped out and carried through a window. Assuming you have an alarm system, how quickly would police show up if it went off?
-
Speaking from experience, I would strongly discourage you from bolting down your safe. It's a false sense of security. You need a safe big enough you can weigh down to make moving it too much of a hassle. Also needs to be solid enough it cannot be broken into with a tool. Are you more worried about a smash and grab or an organized hit?

Hell of an ending. Good for Rory.
