  1. Not surprising, the front-runners are spending their energy in the earliest of the early states and Steyer, the billionaire, is running non-stop TV ads in the later states where he has a longer amount of time to influence opinion.
  2. God damn, what a scoop. Can't wait until they unearth what r/chapotraphouse has done to get quarantined!
  3. Honestly fuck CNN for putting that together, just straight up showing how much they don't care about trying to ruin their campaigns.
  4. 25k new donors is the most insane to me, getting very moist.
  5. I love Bernie, but I think him saying it's a private matter and it's not appropriate to discuss it makes him look better as it shows CNN is just 100% trying to manufacture more drama. That's my opinion though
  6. I 100% agree with you who say this only hurts both their sides. I do think Bernie should have just dismissed it as a private matter, seems like Warren (according to the wonk analysis) did better in the debate last night anyways. Less than 3 weeks away until Iowa and I have a bad feeling that Bernie may get hurt because CNN was determined to frame this as bad as possible for him, not just this dumb drama, but for all the healthcare questions.
  7. Yes, the guy who specifically notes that if he becomes President that he will still need everyone's help to get a progressive agenda passed, who's campaign is "Not me, US" (100% the opposite of Trump's "I, I, I" campaign), who wanted Warren to run against Hillary, is only worried about his interest. This is in spite of us being able to clearly look at damn near every other developed nation in the world and see that our standard of living, healthcare, and inequality are absolute dog shit despite being the richest country in the world. Just admit you're mad Warren has dipped in the polls after leading him, it would be more honest.
  8. Yes, he took responsibility for it the fuck is wrong with your brain? “This time, we’re starting from a different position,” Sanders said on the show. “We were criticized for being too white, that was a correct criticism. We were criticized for being too male, that was a correct criticism. That’s going to change.” https://www.cleveland.com/news/2019/03/bernie-sanders-admits-2016-presidential-campaign-was-too-white.html
  9. Dude literally said at the beginning of this campaign that his 2016 campaign was not focused enough on people of color and was too white and took steps to address that, this was probably his biggest criticism he took last time. You're like three posts out from saying "I'll vote third party if Bernie is the nominee."
  10. I've tried to refrain from crapping on her that much throughout this whole ordeal because I'm committed to voting for Bernie in the primary and I have bias. I thought she completely screwed up by answering that reporters question about the supposed phone-bank candidate "smear" flyer and then going on record saying that Bernie specifically said "A women cannot win the presidency." Whatever, okay, it's a primary and she's attacking him now and Bernie goes on record denying that he said such a phrase, at least in some blatant manner. Her not trying to squash that crap last night at the debate was ugly, it made me lose a lot of respect for her even though she's still my second pick (just a much more distance pick now). Bernie didn't handle it the best either because he wanted to rehash the details, him trying to make a point that he beat an incumbent technically less than 30 years ago seemed dumb too, but she somehow came out looking more untrustworthy in that exchange (especially because CNN seemed hellbent on smearing Bernie).
  11. Let me be clear, I'm 100% for throwing people in gulags if they refuse re-education. What side do you want to be on @workswithseed ?
  12. Yes, in Canada doctors literally refuse to see patients for months knowing they have cancer. That is 100% how it works, the libertarian think-tank told me so!
  13. Hey look, factual data that says this happens! https://www.forbes.com/sites/brucejapsen/2018/03/26/poll-44-of-americans-skip-doctor-visits-due-to-cost/#559e848b6f57 https://www.cnbc.com/2018/11/29/over-half-of-americans-delay-health-care-becasue-they-cant-afford-it.html https://www.npr.org/sections/health-shots/2017/03/15/520110742/as-drug-costs-soar-people-delay-or-skip-cancer-treatments
  14. * Some poor person who makes just enough to not qualify for Medicaid, on his deathbed because he was too worried about the cost for his family to go to a doctor which could have diagnosed him early for cancer * * Enter hornhorn, a big smart boy with math skills holding a copy of Atlas Shrugged * Hornhorn: That's just the way it works, sorry dude. Do you even math bro?
  15. If you just can't bring yourself to guarantee healthcare to all Americans because you're that worried about cost, inefficiencies, etc then you are not the voter we're trying to reach. Go take your ball, bitch on the internet, and vote for Trump or Gary Johnson again and smell your farts because you're a smart big boy.
  16. Nah, go vote for a Republican if you're so fucking worried about how much this is going to cost instead of how much we've spent in Iraq and Afghanistan without somehow crippling the economy.
  17. ONLY IF THE ~* MARKETS *~ ARE THE ONES WHO DO SO! Gubment bad! I like my family deductible being at $10k if I go to an out-of-network hospital (or an out-of-network doctor in an in-network hospital)! That's just the invisible hand making sure I'm taken care of!
  18. I'm all in on throwing nazis in gulags. Sign me the fuck up
  19. Y'all are out here whining about cost when people literally do not go to the doctor or hospital because they can't afford their deductible, copays, and out of pocket expenses. Lots of people outright refuse an ambulance because of how much you can be charged for just a ride an emergency room visit.
  20. Since he didn't qualify for tonight's debate he's apparently let his "social media team" (i.e. his nephew or niece) tweet weird crap.
  21. god damn fuck CNN
  22. We paid over $6k to have our daughter two years ago because, immediately as a newborn, she had a deductible. That was on top of all the premiums I had to pay. Everyone paying into a single healthcare system would easily be cheaper than rolling the dice on whatever insurance plan your company provides.
  23. It was awkward for sure. I really didn't like it even though you know I'm definitely for Bernie. Just have to remind myself that this shit isn't going to really matter for primary voters in the next few weeks.
  24. It's just mind-numbingly stupid that she didn't get an easy victory by going on the record and saying "I don't know who leaked this, but I never stated that Bernie made a sexist remark like this, we're good friends and I have a lot of respect for him." I can buy that her side did this without her knowledge or possibly someone else, but she stepped on it when there was no need.
