  1. holy shit, are you for real? Every single stupid thing they could fling at them they did, misrepresenting past things he wrote, stupid old public access video tapes, his wife's supposed financial wrong-doings in whatever college she was trying to get a stake in. Like do you not have Twitter?
  2. Bwhahaha, fuck that piece of shit. I saw someone on twitter warn he was going to post something a few days ago. Yeah the guy who dressed up like a fake pimp to harm women and people of color who used ACORN is absolutely trustworthy.
  3. God damn, grown ass men out there.
  4. I don't know Hugo, she could have simply said "We had a private conversation where we had some disagreements blah blah" especially since her actual statement had the phrasing "Bernie and I agree on most things." It's fanning the flames that are going to hurt both candidates.
  5. Watch LSU respond here with almost no trouble.
  6. For her to sit on it this long until less than a month out from Iowa? If Bernie did this shit you'd be so pissed he was punching the second most left candidate.
  7. Honestly I think he could open up a bit more about himself because he really tries to never talk about his private life, but I get it he's so hyper-focused on things that matter that it isn't worth trying to appear more human to people that really aren't the ones he's trying to reach.
  8. edit: probably already read this Hugo and I'm still pissed off about the stupid crap last night, not really necessary for me to get mad at you on this dumb thread.
  9. It does bring me a little bit of joy seeing you so salty about Bernie and the "bros" who are the only people who support him.
  10. I assume he won't say anything, because it's only going to make him look worse regardless of how much and good faith he could be. He's friends with her and he's going to need her support big time later if he is leading her in delegate count.
  11. Yeah, I'm skeptical too, anything is possible. I'm sure there are shitty people that are being negative in calls that aren't supposed to, but I would be outright shocked if the campaign told phone-bankers and door-to-door volunteers to smear Warren and Biden. Bernie is going to need Liz's support and it would probably only hurt his campaign Iater if they started organizing against her.
  12. Yeah the wife is out and my kid is asleep. I'm probably getting some rabbit ears tomorrow.
  13. I can stream it, I might later. I don't have enough data left to stream the whole game on my phone.
  14. Fuck me, I'm only listening but it sounds like Tanny came to play today
  15. My fucking TV internet are still out, almost the entire day and they don't know what it'll be back up. Having a drink and listening on the radio at least.
  16. Uh oh, sounds like a Super PAC Hugo. Better let OpenSecrets know.
  17. I'm not going to argue that and really feel like we'll see the same things repeat if Biden wins the nomination.
  18. I'm very privileged because of my race, upbringing, and how those enabled me to save and pivot to software where I make probably way too much money for the amount of work I perform. Would absolutely not mind paying more in taxes for universal healthcare, much better and more equal access in primary education, large scale public transit, etc. I know lots of people my age who think similarly, and unsurprisingly meet older people who think that is somehow actual communism. We can hem and haw about the ramifications of more robust social systems and the welfare state, but these ideas are only becoming more popular with millennials and zoomers. I do see this becoming something the US shifts towards even if Biden wins in 2020 and every non-woke Twitter leftist thinks we've somehow returned to normalcy.
  19. You seriously think the trajectory we were on under Obama, GWB, or even Clinton was actually helping poor people? How many graphs if the wealth accumulated under the top 1% or how wages have been stagnant do we need to show you?
  20. Too bad, glad that people who want radical change to help the most need and vulnerable are somehow worse than putting kids in cages. Seriously I know you think they're going to somehow bring the world crumbling down, but it's insane that people who aren't supportive of hyper unfettered capitalism are equivalent to Trump who has only helped completely exacerbate the growing inequality in this country.
  21. Hi yes, let me introduce you to the modern GOP party. Any democratic candidate is going to be "uniquely unlikable" for whatever reason. Leftists hate most of the candidates besides Bernie, big-brained market wonks hate Bernie and somewhat Warren, etc. The electability argument is the absolute last thing we need to worry about, it's time to stop being cowards and worrying about everyone else but yourself.
  22. I hate Biden, but I'll vote for whoever the nominee is. This threatening of "If Bernie gets the nomination then people won't turn out" is precisely what happened in 2016 as an argument for Clinton and look what happened.
  23. lmao at him touting this as a good thing
  24. Right, we should run a centrist candidate again that inspires little turnout since it worked so well in 2016. I seriously cannot wait for your "why I have to vote for Trump" posts if Bernie gets the nomination.
