  1. He’s probably got sock accounts
  2. It’s intentional. They are trying to break it because they don’t have the votes to destroy it
  3. Yeah, it was called the CHIPS act and it was fucking working
  4. Shorter UTEE:
  5. Aren’t we already taxing all imports from China at 54%? So 104%.
  6. Yes. The king is mad and dug in. Honestly Congress taking away the tariff button isn’t enough. He needs to be removed from office
  7. This is being refuted by the White House and the little market rally off this made up headline is being obliterated
  8. He literally believes that a trade deficit means the US is losing money. Wharton should retract his degree because surely no one with that degree would say something so stupid… and yet This is Trump: And Congress and businesses are too cowardly to do any damn thing about it. I know I’m repeating myself but this is all just so fucking dumb
  9. Maybe billionaires who are wholly insulated from consequences for crashing the economy shouldn’t be running government. This is all just so fucking dumb
  10. If Putin himself was in control of the presidency- can someone tell me something that would be different than what is happening right now? How long will Congress permit this insanity?
  11. Just the stupidest way to run a country
  12. None of this discusses tariffs on steel or aluminum. Regardless of where the cars are assembled the price of materials is skyrocketing and will cripple so many industries.
  13. Buddy, it’s only March. Buckle up
  14. Almost assuredly due to luck that the story broke one day before intelligence heads were scheduled to testify on an annual report of security threats to congress. It’s not like the GOP Senate would have willingly sought a hearing on this topic. But also it shows 1) none of these people are fit for service in handling classified information and 2) they communicate this way regularly on cell phones
  15. The team just fell apart down the stretch. No fight
  16. No shit - I would have voted for his corpse that was animated by the magic of Jim Henson studios and the Muppets over any of this wannabe despot BS
  17. So in one case in CA, a judge ruled to reinstate 24,000 probationary employees who were fired illegally (with back pay) and now this: I just can’t get over how damn efficient this all is. Elon truly showing how brilliant he is in creating lasting change for the better
  18. Not just out of the country but the US is apparently using our tax dollars to pay to hold them in a slave labor prison indefinitely
  19. this post was restricted to only logged in users so I took a screenshot. We have to consider that Elon is doing these things on purpose to benefit foreign actors. Given that he’s gone through no background check, has limitless conflicts of interest, and couldn’t obtain a clearance without the president’s personal intervention, it’s something we need to be very concerned about answering
  20. All of those factors are self inflicted. Just fantastic work all around- truly a golden age
  21. That’s a good joke. Also would have accepted ā€œhis OLā€
  22. I first chaired trials in federal and state courts for 15 years and also appeared in a handful of cases before Judge Boasberg. No way would I have the balls to make this argument to his face. Embarrassing bad faith BS
  23. Brazen defiance to the chief judge of the DC federal court He’s bending over backwards asking them to give a written justification as case law and precedent requires more than the government screaming ā€œNATIONAL SECURITYā€. Sounds like noon tomorrow for that submission. That said - showing up to an evidentiary hearing on your own contempt of court without answers is a stupid battle to pick. They don’t have 5 votes at SCOTUS for ignoring TROs
