  1. We just finished it and were talking about how well all of them aged. They're all basically 60 and all of them look great, especially Ice.
  2. I'll add that I would also take Phoenix over Texas. Sure, it's hot AF for three months and you can't go outside but the winters are legit whereas Texas winters can still suck periodically.
  3. Correct. It's part of the country music fantasy world of idyllic small towns while the crime is in the "city." **cough** dog whistle **cough** Never mind that in reality there is more crime in smaller towns and rural areas than the big cities. Modern country music (read "bro country") is for people from a small town who moved to the exurbs who want to move back to a small town but forgot why they left in the first place.
  4. Winters in the NE are overrated. It's basically for two months with a little spillover in December and March. Meanwhile, the summers are mostly great and fall is the tits. Sure, it gets hot at times in the summer but it's brief, maybe a few weeks. It's not a summer death march.
  5. Same. It wasn't the reason but it was a reason.
  6. There is a lot of weed there so there's that.
  7. I'm going with he prolly didn't know the courthouse was used for lynchings because he seems like the type that got a C in some basic HS history class and thinks the world started the day he was born. Prolly thinks the earth is 5,000 years old, Jesus rode on dinosaurs, and America was a fine place until the civil rights crowd stirred up "the blacks."
  8. When I first hear it, I was offended at his singing and how bad the song was. Evidently, the video was shot on the steps of a courthouse where they used to lynch people. Oops.
  9. I know it's only summer league but Chet's blocks. Jeez. He's a lot more athletic than I thought he was coming out of college. Him vs. Wemby will be interesting over the years:
  10. As a player/assistant/HC, isn’t Gundy something like 3-25 against OU?
  11. Starting in 2024, Okie State plays Tulsa literally every year until 2031. Just sayin'. https://fbschedules.com/ncaa/oklahoma-state/
  12. https://www.oklahoman.com/story/sports/college/big-12/2022/09/20/bedlam-football-ou-oklahoma-state-to-end-when-sooners-join-sec/69506634007/ OU would sign up for this series tomorrow. OSU can't break future games against Tulsa and other directional schools. Some programs want to build brands. Some don't.
  13. OU isn't offering a home and home. They're offering a permanent home and home, basically what Florida/Florida State and Clemson/South Carolina have. OSU is saying no because they have Tulsa or whoever booked. If Michigan or Ohio State offered that same deal to OSU, they'd say yes before the verbal offer was finished. Since it's OU, they're saying no.
  14. This. Gundy and Okie State being bitch ass is a prime example of why Texas and OU are leaving in the first place. OSU has a great chance to build a TV brand here. They could play a helmet school every year in prime time on Thanksgiving weekend. It would help build their brand. It would help with recruiting. It would sell tickets. Instead, they'll keep scheduling Tulsa and directional Missouri schools. That tells you a lot. Texas and OU begged these schools to schedule better and help with the brand and they didn't. OSU is just showing one example.
  15. I'll just leave this here because why the fuck not? Anti vax except for people at his house. Makes you wonder if really believes this nonsense or he's trolling. (Noted that he's taking HGH.) Guests of a holiday party thrown at Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s home were urged to be vaccinated in order to attend, according to a report by Politico. Kennedy, the nephew of former President John F. Kennedy, is a longtime, prominent anti-vaccine advocate. Because of his history speaking against vaccination, guests were surprised when they received an invitation for a party at his California home that asked those attending to be vaccinated against the coronavirus and to take COVID-19 tests beforehand, Politico reported. https://thehill.com/briefingroom-blogroll/586308-guests-urged-to-be-vaccinated-for-party-at-anti-vax-kennedys-home/
  16. Did Florence and Tuscany back in May. Mixed in a tour to Cinque Terre. Not bad. Not bad at all..... San Diego in September.....
