  1. It's one of our famous boycotts you stupid sip! Wooop!
  2. Yup he had no time to stop. He absolutely did his best to avoid the QB.
  3. Commentators saying the hit on the QB is controversial. The guy took two long steps after the knee is already down. Three steps if you count the step as the QB was already going down to take the knee. This was not a situation in which the defender is in the middle of starting his tackle as the QB started to give himself up. He was not even close when the guy was already on his knee. People just hated to see the Eagles lose it in this fashion without a chance for a last drive.
  4. Sark explained his passing offense is based on Bill Walsh progression offense. If you get the look that you want on your primary read that is where you go. Basically you don't look anywhere else at all. Asked why Quinn does not go through his progressions he said it is probably is because he going to the guy Sark is calling for in the play call. What Ken just explained is not what I heard from Sark. Also, Bill also preached ball control passing offense and having his quarterback find the open man. Chucking the ball downfield is not ball control and having the whole team look to the sideline means the quarterback has not been made responsible for finding the open man. So Sark STFU that you are running with Bill's principals. https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/how-is-a-quarterback-like-your-laptop-excerpt/
  5. Well, PK can say that the last two games his defense saved the day and almost saved the day. He can also say the defense has shown a ton of progress since the begining of last year. The offense on the other hand in second halves has been the way it is for two seasons now. The first half against TCU is a repeat of the Arkansas game. If Sark's plan is bad or stops working he is lost.
  6. My opinion is that once Mack was embarrassed he puckered up against the uniforms on the other sideline and not necessarily the quality of the team. As evidence I offer North Carolina ranked #5 and losing to unranked and crap team Florida State in 2020 and then again 2021 (both unranked) when at home. He still saw Bowden's shadow. https://www.espn.com/college-football/game/_/gameId/401234612 https://www.espn.com/college-football/game/_/gameId/401282654
  7. Well my prediction is done since I had us only losing one more.
  8. Some of us grew up In the 80's and early 90's and "Dress for Success" was engrained into the culture. So when you see someone dress like a clown there is a natural reaction for those of us old enough to care how serious we looked when doing a serious job in front of the customer.
  9. Yes the first one has been all over the board. Others have done a better job than I with the actual quote instead of a paraphrase.
  10. Anyone that says that Sark is not the problem needs to objectively watch the TCU post game presser. "It is not fair to Card to save the day". Saban benched the guy that got them to an NC and asked a backup to save the day. Even much much worse than that is his answer on pushing the ball downfield when it has not been working all season. Paraphrasing "We have to figure it out otherwise defenses will sit down on us." His conclusion is he has to do it in game. Really a game with a W on the line is when you try to figure it out. It sounds like he knows it has not worked all year in either games or practice but yet he treats a real game like a practice or scrimmage situation. In games you must use your best weapons with plays that put them in the best position to be successful. It is not the time to call plays you hope will all of a sudden magically work.
  11. For a second there when I saw next year and next QB as solution I thought it was a texags thread.
  12. It is Jerry that gets these yes man coaches because he wants to be in charge still trying to prove he is a football man after 25 years. He won without Jimmy but with Jimmy's guys. So that is not his and he knows it. Folks that blame the latest shit coach that Jerry put in place are blaming the symptom and not the cause.
  13. ULM, Bama and once or twice vs OU and then it stopped.
  14. At least last night BJ was wide open a couple of times once for a TD and did not get a look. Witt and Sanders a few others and did not get a look. Now I am of the opinion that Sark thinks he calls perfect plays for each situation since he has actually said it in presser and I believe he demands his players execute his play because why else has Quinn gone from being pretty good at looking for his outlet at locking in just like Card. We use to complain about Card failing to look for his outlet now Quinn too.
  15. The coaching this guy is getting is messing up the glimpses of game he had early this season. Early this season he seemed to look down field and calmly look for his outlet at the last second and do it well. Now he locks in on receivers like Chris Simms and that is a pretty tight lock.
  16. I remember a time when I hated Sark for being incompetent for only scoring 3 to 6 points in second halves. He showed promise by kicking ass in the first half. I miss those days since now he sucks for the entire game and dresses like a clown. Well yet another JAG that is not the guy. I was hoping the light would come on but the guy is lost the second his original plan stops working. In today's case and Arkansas case last year he is even worse when the original plan never works.
  17. This Herman vs Sark argument really has me baffled as to whom is better.
  18. That is dollar but since we can't collect a negg was given.
  19. Sark just outdid his last two suck second halves. What the fuck is wrong with Ewers. Just overlooks wide open receivers or misses his throws.
