  3. Pen snob here. I buy mine, yet my wife has a shit ton of real nice ones she never bought (mine). A ton of tools and tool boxes my dad has given me and others my son (auto) no longer wants. I don't need 90% of them.
  4. So your dad was either a hooligan or canadian? And yes, that might be the same thing. Damn fine unit.
  5. Fuck it. Mods, leave it here. Can combine politics of travel, the IRA, BREXIT, all that. Odd to look at Heathrow and not see 1 plane coming or going.
  6. This. Just this. Happy to discuss, but I know the soccer dads on here will neg bomb me to Bolivia (did they win?) Fucking Panama? It is time we need to ask ourselves some real questions about how we approach the sport.
  7. Will Finance E-1 and up.
  8. Shit, meant to put it in DT. Oh well. will be more fun here. Sorry Mods. Please move. We all know it was the IRA.
  9. This shoudl make for a fun travel weekend across the Atlantic or onward. LONDON — Europe's busiest airport has announced it will remain closed throughout Friday after a power shutdown forced more than 100 flights to divert in mid-air. A fire at an electrical substation close to Heathrow, west of London, began just hours before the airport was about to open at 6 a.m. local time, and the loss of power will affect at least 1,000 flights over the course of the day, and hundreds of thousands of passengers. Several fire engines and dozens of firefighters are battling that blaze in the nearby town of Hayes, while an airport spokesperson has warned passengers to avoid any transit to Heathrow. https://www.npr.org/2025/03/21/nx-s1-5336092/heathrow-closed-fire-power-london

  16. Anyone hear about Hays county websites getting hacked? Put up a black eagle, some dudes in masks, etc. Fucked up the permits site!
  17. A major issue that surrounds a lot of Americans is we believe in the I, not the we. That is very bad for a society.
  18. Fuck that, I like some of these names. Early European 16th-century maps such as those by Juan de la Cosa and Martin Waldseemüller depicted the eastern extremity of the gulf, though left it unlabeled.[13] Hernán Cortés called it "Sea of the North" (Spanish: Mar del Norte) in his dispatches, while other Spanish explorers called it the "Gulf of Florida" (Golfo de Florida) or "Gulf of Cortés" (Golfo de Cortés).[13] A 1584 map by Abraham Ortelius also labeled it as the "Sea of the North" (Mare de Nort).[14] Other early European maps called it the "Gulf of St. Michael" (Latin: Sinus S. Michaelis),[15] "Gulf of Yucatán" (Golfo de Iucatan),[16] "Yucatán Sea" (Mare Iuchatanicum),[17] "Great Antillean Gulf" (Sinus Magnus Antillarum), "Cathayan Sea" (Mare Cathaynum), or "Gulf of New Spain" (Spanish: Golfo de Nueva España).[13] At one point, New Spain encircled the gulf, with the Spanish Main extending into what later became Mexico and the southeastern United States.[14]
  19. Nope. Never said that. I do not rIgHT formal here. I was a junior writer assigned to engineering teams. I worked with a lot of technical teams.
