  1. It’s just Assault By Contact, a class C fine only offense, well worth the price of admission.
  2. No, he’s Case, but can throw a spiral.
  3. Not this shit again also can we change the thread title to “Wookie on Waikiki”
  4. I have a place in SPI. I was fishing topwater in the surf, catching some nice ones. Dad and two boys from Monterrey we’re out there too, fishing broomsticks with double drop rigs, not catching shit. So we get to talking, I show them what I’m doing, they go buy new rods, reels, and topwaters. We are all down there for a week, they are getting the hang of it each dawn and dusk, catching reds and trout. So one evening I’m coming in from the beach and all hell is breaking loose a hundred yards down the beach, cops, ambulance, etc. One of the kids was fishing in a school of mullet and a shark clamped down on his foot. Pretty nasty puncture wounds top and bottom of his foot so they took him into Brownsville and stitched him up. Poor kid was bummed he couldn’t get back into the water. Don’t be scared. We wade there every year. Going again soon.
  5. stiffer, but not as long...
  6. Surgeons knot or Slim Beauty knot will join dissimilar sized lines but 130# mono is stiffer than my pecker when I’m browsing the Alejandra Guilmant thread, good luck
  7. Trees cut short Lives cut short.
  8. PIC 1: do you know why the trees in the American cemetery are trimmed like this? PIC 3-5: The church in Angoville au Plain was used by 2 US Army Medics as an aide station during the Battle of Normandy in World War II. Robert Wright and Ken Moore of the 101st Airborne treated a mix of 80 injured American and German wounded soldiers and a child. Blood stains are still visible on the pews. Two stained glass windows commemorate the 101st Airborne Division, the first one is dedicated to the two medics of the 2nd Battalion of the 501st Parachute Infantry Regiment (101st Airborne Division). The second one honoured the American parachutists. The damage to the floor was from a mortar round that came thru the roof and landed in the church but did not explode PIC 6: Inside the church at Saint Marie du Mont (just inland of Utah) you can see .45ACP holes from a Tommy gun from an American who killed a German hiding inside the confession booth PIC 7: just inland from Sainte Mere Egliese is Purple Heart Highway (off to the right, thru the flooded fields), and the Merderet river and the bridge at La Fiere, which is the basis for the fictional plot from Saving Private Ryan

  13. Nice! Looking forward to a range report.
  14. yellow jack, edible for all purposes, including raw large ones might carry risk of ciguatera
  15. Healdsburg is one of my favorites To stay: Bella Luna Inn To eat: Bravas is a must, Valette, Guiso Latin Fusion, Willi's for seafood, Catelli's up in Geyserville, and most of all, drive out to Bodega Bay and eat a crab sandwich and clam chowder at Fisherman's Cove or Spud Point, don't make a shit, eat at whichever line is shorter. It's a must. Suggest you bring a cooler (and when I say cooler, I mean a Yeti backpack) of meats, cheese, champagne (or Pliny), plastic glasses and hike the Bodega Bay Trailhead down to the beach. Pantydropper. If Armstrong State Park is open (thanks a lot, wildfires) run that same play in the redwoods. Wine: Hall, as mentioned above, check out their sister, Walt and BACA, new room right outside of town, they're making some serious wines. CAST, Gary Farrell, Merry Edwards, Hanna, Dry Creek, Unti. The wines are stupid good up there, there isn't a wrong answer.
  16. shoulder check while you say "muledick" is how you keep it discrete
  17. Find a Valor. Then, when you do, you'll have to have a V-Bob. I have (and have had) a lot of pistols. If I had to make a shot to save my life, easy choice, I'd pick up my Valor.
  18. Dan Wesson, no question about it.

  22. Martindale fucked with the wrong guy, who, after getting cited, pointed out that state law requires the city to give traffic fine money in excess of some percentage to the state, which cost the city hundreds of thousands of dollars to be repaid to the state. That ended the speed trap in Martindale.
  23. Is that guy named Cindy and that sailfish named Marlin?
  24. I had recurring nightmares about two things in my life: 1. Law school exams 2. Waiting tables (but never bartending, where I’d be just as slammed)
