  1. Sapphire Reserve has the $300 travel credit. Plus they had $120 in Door Dash. I just order with the app and pick up. I ate $120 in free BBQ. It's not a card I would cancel
  2. that youth 870 swings as nice on a pheasant as it does in with an armadillo digging in my yard
  3. The clearance was glorious while it lasted. I have more handgun and AR ammo that I can shoot in a lifetime.
  4. I found a day hunt place near the house for $50. We got some fat WWs this morning.
  5. I finally gave up my lease this year. Been on it maybe 15 years. We used to murder the dove. White wing, mourning, Eurasian, pigeons. Tailgate hunting, no effort at all. Over the past 5 years it got worse and worse. My buddy that stayed on it reported to me today "saw four, shot one." I think I've killed three dove in one shot on this lease. No one around us has been shooting either. Corn all over the ground, it just sits there. My lease is 10 minutes from town. Used to have swarms of white wings all over my backyard. Now I see only a few here and there. I wish I had an explanation. I need a new lease bad.
  6. you spent your entire social security check on that
  7. Loose well drained organic soil, dig hole, plant potato section, eye up. Loosely cover with a little dirt, leaving hole. Once potatoes start to grow, add more dirt to the hole, mound it up if you can. Water frequently once it gets hot. In Texas, you plant them around Valentines day. Harvest around the beginning of June once plants deteriorate. Yukon golds do well.
  8. if you wrote anything other than ez melt cheez then you are by the way some of the best cheese enchiladas are at Cap'n Roy's in South Padre
  9. How do you like the PMR 30? I watched some videos on it, it looks like a blast. But I'm a Ruger Mark 2 fanboi who is afraid that if I bought the PMR 30 I might like it more

  13. neighbor scenario is self defense, of which castle doctrine is a part that may or may not apply
  14. will trade multiple W12s for single BTACs, PM if interested
  15. That brief is a loser. Factual sufficiency is a loser. Charge error is a loser. That's not the way mistake of fact works. Her mistake(s) of fact are embodied in the defense of self defense (or defense of property). I've already explained how mistake of fact works above. Self defense law contemplates that a person may not be right about the facts, they just have to be reasonable in their belief. Example: Husband comes home from trip two days early to surprise his wife, plane is late, gets home late, he enters home, she freaks out not expecting him and she blows him away. Mistaken but reasonable belief. Good shoot. It works the same way for defense of others. Two knuckleheads are staging a fake aggravated robbery to post on Youtube. CHL holder approaches and blows robber away. Mistaken but reasonable belief. Good shoot. I hear a noise in my garage at 200am, I enter the garage and shoot a shadowy figure. It is my neighbor who just wanted to borrow a screwdriver. Mistaken but reasonable belief. Good shoot. Actually I came about 2 pounds of trigger pull from killing my neighbor once, he got so fucked up he almost got his ticket punched. I posted the story on TOS.
  16. I ordered the https://www.olightstore.com/baldr-pro.html which should pair nicely with my P226, G22 or G30. Looks like this has great reviews on Youtube and Amazon.
