A lot of people chirped after the game but unless you were looking for trouble it was fine. OSU fans around us were entertaining to talk ball with. Weird gameday experience. Every other OSU fan needed to say Horns Down but couldn’t even make the symbol right. Had multiple people give me a mahalo. Also, I had no phone service for like the whole day. Not sure how OSU doesn’t build their gameday for coverage.

lol the fuck? Are you/do you look Hawaiian?

yeah leaving the stadium was fine.. there were just a few obnoxious young tosu fans that were yelling at my group as we were walking.. But nothing too bad.  Don't think I'll ever return here but it was a good trip.

Expected dicks & pitchforks and got rose petals and sweet nothings from the Ohio State crowd..wtf is this noise..where is the hate!?

They were clearly embarrassed about last time, all those years ago. This area prides itself on midwestern nice. Everyone was almost overly kind and supportive. And Columbus is a cool town, not as special as Austin, but huge (much bigger than Cincinnati by comparison), the state capital, tons of young energy, etc. No reason to come back but I certainly wouldn't avoid it.

Ran into obnoxious fans in and around the stadium, but nothing crazy. If we had completed the comeback I have a feeling it would have been a bit different. The obsession with yelling Horns down was a bit bizarre, but then again it is Ohio. You can tell they really wanted to emphasize the welcoming fans trope from the signs all over campus to the video messages on the tiny videoboard. Probably wouldn’t come back, but definitely no complaints.

Tech has a more hostile fan base than OSU. Osu fans that we interacted with were cool and somewhat humble for having just won a national championship.

Guild House was fantastic on Friday. Cocktails at Alibi and Denmark were also great. Varsity Club was your standard pregame bar and Skull Sessions was a semi-cool tradition. After the game we hit up Antiques on High and Law Bird for drinks. Law Bird may be the best cocktail bar in Ohio. Then we had dinner at Dozo in Dayton. Awesome spot for Dayton.

Did Wright Brothers National Historic Park and USAF Museum this morning (im a big aviation nerd)… now heading to Mansfield Reformatory (where they filmed Shawshank Redemption) and getting some Skyline Chili on the way. After that headed to NFL Hall of Fame, First Ladies National Historic Site, and gonna gamble in Cleveland at Jack after dinner and drinks at Amazonia and Clandestina.

Tomorrow will be the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, James Garfield NHS and a stop at a dispensary before flying back.

Ill say this: The National Museum of the USAF is the best free museum in the world. Ill fight anyone who says otherwise. Insane collection and if you have been to Ohio and havent been there, youre missing out
