I was willing to think, hey we've been banged up and the OL sucks. But coming out of the bye with everyone as healthy as they are going to be the Running Game looks like shit, not just because of the early contact but just generally speaking it's been ineffective at best and a liability at worst.

Was the step down from Tashard Choice this big? I loved Choice as the RB coach, but there has been nothing to be proud of except for tre at OU this entire season out of that position group.

Well, these are mostly Choive’s recruits. Wisner was never supposed to play a leading role here. Because of injuries, Baxter looks like he is running in quick sand, and Clark is just not that good. Combine that with a really weak OL and here we are.

I think the OL struggles swallow the RB problem whole, except maybe for depth.  Baxter probably needs to be "relegated."

Honestly we just aren't that talented and haven't been for quite some time. We don't have anyone who is a complete back. Watching other schools have a guy running through arm tackles and making jump cuts to set up blocks is painful. The last person we had like that left here in 2022.

I feel like Wisner has been run into the ground. Probably because Baxter and Clark are so bad they can’t share any of the load. Despite these glaring issues Sark still felt it was prudent to run off Gibson.

But they don’t explain abandoning the run game. That’s on our OC. Or head coach.

Gibson’s fumble problems ran off Gibson*
