  1. I was just reminded of this conversation while sitting in a long line at the entrance to Changi airport immigration because some jackass had an electronic boarding pass which wouldn’t scan. I smiled as he was directed back to the ticket counter.
  2. I’d like to thank God, my parents, and fellow assholes for their part in me being accepted into this honorary fraternity. Surly forever.
  3. GERN is a shitty stock. Aka, I didn’t have any…
  4. The real treasure was the friends we made along the way.
  5. If you’re asking, it’s probably time to get off.
  6. Also explains why he’s so fast. Everyone else is running slightly uphill.
  7. Actually, they’re 100% more likely to give birth to an actual android. The plastics, combined with bromine and high heat, turn a hot tub into a bionic sperm manufacturing plant.

  9. Sometimes the closer you are to a problem, the less ability you have to see it.
  10. Yes, at least 89% of the shares are being held by insiders and institutional investors. I think that leaves roughly 46 million shares available to move the market. Since Surly probably owns a chunk of that and doesn’t sell anything. There’s probably only a handful of people actually trading and moving this stock. If we see massive volume, then we know insiders are dumping and the sun is setting. If it continues to move on low volume, no reason to pay attention, unless loading more at the bottoms.
  11. Different people are attracted to different things. Swift and Spears never did anything for me, but I can understand other people’s fascination.
  12. And you still couldn’t tailgate until trucks were invented.
  13. Maybe he got drunk and tried to jump out of an airplane at cruising altitude?
  14. As fans, we love to look at the yards a RB gets and declare he should be the starter, while completely ignoring the other very important aspect of their responsibility, blocking. I don’t analyze this shit enough to truly know who comes out on top in this area, but usually assume that’s the reason one RB gets the nod over the other, who may look better with the ball in their hands.
